Kevin Durand has been busy lately, between his role on ‘The Strain’, guest role on ‘Vikings’ and several films including his role in the film ‘Dark Was The Night’. Durand is joined by Lukas Haas ( Inception ), Bianca Kajich ( 30 Minutes or Less), Sabina Gadecki (Outlaw Prophet), Heath Freeman (Home Sweet Hell ), Nick Damici and Steve Agee (Stake Land) as cast members for ‘Dark Was The Night’. This horror-thriller was written by Tyler Hisel and directed by Jack Heller, who served as producer for the horror-comedy ‘Bad Milo’, 2011’s ‘Enter Nowhere’ and the upcoming horror film ‘Some Kind of Hate’.
Durand plays the role of Sheriff, who along with his Deputy (Haas), must find away to protect his small town, along with his son and himself, from an ancient evil that is hunting down and killing not only the town’s livestock but also the residents of the secluded town.
There is no concrete release date, but it has been said that ‘Dark Was the Night’ will be out sometime in July.
