Last week we reported that James Wan will be producing the full length feature version of the short film ‘Lights Out’. Wan also produced ‘Insidious’, ‘The Conjuring’ and several of the ‘Saw’ films and the upcoming horror film ‘Demonic’.
‘Warm Bodies’ actress Teresa Palmer has signed on for the film and will star along side young actor Gabriel Bateman (Stalker). David F. Sandberg will direct the movie. Eric A. Hesisser will be writing the script based on Sandberg’s 2013 short film. Hesisser’s writing credits includes ‘The Thing’ and ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’.
In ‘Lights Out’ we will witness a supernatural entity, that can only be seen in the dark, tormenting a family. One family member must step up to protect them from the dark entity.
The ‘Lights Out’ short film is creepy to say the least. I’m a big fan of James’ Wan work, so I know ‘Lights Out’ is guaranteed to be a great film. Check out the short film (below) and see what all the buzz is about for yourself, but you might want to watch it with the lights on.
