DVD Review: Amityville Island (2020)
A woman (Jamie Morgan) brings home a box of cursed items she picked up in front of that infamous residence down Long Island way, promptly gets possessed, and offs her entire family, DeFeo style. Flash forward, and our heroine is incarcerated and forced to participate in a felonious fight club with a fellow inmate (Danielle Donahue) which goes over like fart in a submarine, and the duo are shipped off to a private island containing bears, sharks, and mutant zombies, as they so often do, right cats n’ creeps? Anyhow, on said island, a small team of scientists are conducting all manner of eerie experiments and at the center of it all is our friendly neighborhood Psycho Mom, who’s inner demon can leap out and posses the local fauna (including a shark ‘natch) and populace… so you know things are going to go to hell (for some it could be literally) as science and the supernatural clash on the island

Movie Reviews (Arrow Video FrightFest Glasgow): Death of a Vlogger; The Cleansing Hour
Death of a Vlogger The U.K. faux documentary Death of a Vlogger uses the possibility of supernatural occurrences to explore the pitfalls of today’s social media world. It does so in a manner that is consistently entertaining, and though it offers some criticism on both internet fame seekers and the often callous audiences that follow them, it never gets too heavy-handed in its messages. Writer/director Graham Hughes stars as Graham, a YouTube personality who begins experiencing strange incidents in his flat after he has laser eye surgery. He is joined by his friend Erin (Annabel Logan), and the duo further explores the possibilities of what might be taking place in his home. Eventually, paranormal investigator Steve (Paddy Kondracki) comes aboard, seeking as many new likes and follows as he can get, only for the trio to be called out on their story by fellow YouTuber and skeptic Alice (Joma West). Hughes leads a strong cast, and he helms the film

Lines Between Reality And Creativity Blur: ‘Based On’ VS ‘Inspired By’
At one point or another, we all have seen “Based on a true story” or “Inspired by” on movie posters, book covers, and even in video games. As a result, we’re all guilty of it, we the audience immediately want to see, read, and play it because we want to experience the story, especially if its horror related! What happens afterward is a moment of either instant regret, confusion, or in some cases satisfaction without realizing we have a fishhook sticking out of our cheeks. We’ve all been there that after watching a movie “Based on a true story” we sit back thinking, “did it really happen?!” Or “come on that’s totally not how it happened!” and a lot of times… we’re in the latter…and we’re right, and it’s time to call out filmmakers, writers, and studios for misusing the terms “Based on” and “Inspired by” to hook audiences in for a disappointment! First, we need to get the obvious

Movie Review: Juvenile Delinquents (2020)
Pedo ass-hat Frank (Jay Amari) gets him self unintentionally murder-ized by a gaggle of juvenile delinquents that come to the rescue of his latest victim Sarah (Corynn Treadwell). Given their past, these dudes are none to anxious to dial ol’ 911, so they get the shit-hot idea to torch Frank’s pad… but his wife Molly (Marie Smalley) arrives home just as the demented deed is about to go down, and finds herself a hostage as these killer kids, and their friends whom soon join them, decide their next step! As is the way, further static ensues, and the group, once splintered, grows stronger… but will their bond be enough to see them through this patch of dark waters? To clear the air a bit; Juvenile Delinquents would fall more on the drama side of the equation if one is trying to slap a label on it… but at it’s core this circles the exploitation/action side of things rather firmly. Corona Beer Fears Update: WE GOT DUPED!
One of my past articles that seemed to have received a lot of love (Thanks guys!) has now made me look like a fool as it did with many other news outlets that reported it. As it turns out my article about 38% of Americans won’t be drinking Corona Beer due to the fear of Coronavirus, was an elaborate hoax…and I fell for it. Normally I would be kicking myself in the head for falling for something like this but I’m thankful to know the fact that other major news outlets and respectable journalists have fallen for it as well. So it’s my responsibility to give the facts and to correct my mistake. So what happened? In February the news spread far a wide like the Coronavirus itself after what appeared to be a coordinated effort by 5W Public Relations, and PR Newswire who withheld information pertaining to the questions asked on the survey and how they were asked, when
