Gary Dauberman Says Salem’s Lot Will Stay True To King’s Story

One concern of Stephen King fans is if an adaptation (and there’s a bunch) will adhere to the source material. Screenwriter Gary Dauberman eased those worries today when he confirmed that his and James Wan‘s upcoming adaptation of King’s novel Salem’s Lot will be as faithful to the original tale as possible. The IT and Annabelle Comes Home writer had this to say: I like to be as true to the story as I possibly can until it gets a little too unwieldly for a movie. I’m very, very excited to be a part of that and tackle it. It hasn’t had the big screen treatment yet, which is how I felt about it. It’s so fun to play around with vampires and make something trulys cary with vampires. I haven’t seen that in a long, long time, and I’m excited for people to see it.” While the 1979 Tobe Hooper-directed TV adaptation of King’s novel was scary, it was

Review: ‘Jurassic World Evolution: Claire’s Sanctuary’

It’s time to go back to the park and help Claire in the latest Jurassic World: Evolution DLC Claire’s Sanctuary. Bryce Dallas Howard returns to voice her role from the “Jurassic World” series. In this DLC you’re helping Claire in starting a new park known as “Sanctuary” after Mount Sibo erupted. Along with bringing in surviving dinosaurs to Sanctuary, you are tasked with developing the new Paleobotany program where you can grow prehistoric plants in a new greenhouse building. The plants grown in the greenhouse can be used in feeders to feed your herbivores but it’s not as easy as it sounds. Some plants are harmful to certain species while others are not. The dinos that eat the wrong plants can have their lifespan shortened; this adds a whole new level of problem-solving to the game. One of the coolest additions to the game is the Jurassic Tours, an off-road truck tour that takes your guests right into the enclosures

Game Review: The Underground Is Beautiful In ‘Another Sight’

A while back, I told you about Another Sight, well thanks to the folks at Lunar Great Wall Studios and Toplitz Productions gave me the opportunity to review this marvelous piece of interactive art! Another Sight is a side-scrolling puzzle game that takes place in the London underground. Players take on the role of Kit (Catherine) who’s stuck under the streets of Victorian London after an accident while visiting a worksite with her Father. Alone, Kit has also realized she’s lost her vision but is able to see with sound. Kit is accompanied by a mysterious cat named Hodge who players can take control of as well as both he and Kit journey through the mysterious world that’s under London. Now onto the game itself, first off, the first thing you can’t ignore about this game is the art! When you see the world through either Hodge’s or Kit’s eyes it’s beautiful. That’s another facet of the game’s mechanic that

Reed came to the fictional island of Oakmont to find answers to his nightmares and visions he’s been having since the war as it appears many people on the island are experiencing the same phenomenon. Upon arriving at the island, Reed learns that the city is falling into ruin as a great flood has taken place and strange creatures are coming from the flood waters and a mysterious force is calling to those inflicted with nightmares and visions… Onto the game itself!
