A Creature Is Raised In The Trailer For ‘The Golem’
Picture it, it’s 17th century in Lithuania, there is an outbreak of a deadly plague and foreign invaders. A woman desperate to protect her village conjures an ancient entity. The Paz brothers, who brought us the supernatural film JeruZalem (review), have announced the February release of their latest film The Golem. The film centers on, Hanna (Hani Furstenberg), the wife of a rabbi (Ishai Golen), Hanna (Hani Furstenberg). Hanna conjures a dangerous entity to protect her Jewish community from foreign invaders. But the creature is far more dangerous than she knows. During our interview with Yoav Paz, he went into detail about the film as well explaining the history of the golem. He also revealed that the ritual in the film is very real. It features a dark Jewish mythology about a creature. The legends say that when Jews were in danger a Rabi could make a Golem out of clay and mud to protect them. Golems were the basis

Matthew Holness’ Chilling Horror Film ‘Possum’ Coming To DVD
Writer-director Matthew Holness‘ chilling horror film Possum, given a five skull review from our DanXIII, is set to arrive on DVD this February. In the film, “Philip (Sean Harris, Mission: Impossible –Fallout & Rogue Nation, Deliver Us From Evil), a disgraced children’s puppeteer, returns to his dilapidated childhood home and lecherous stepfather, Maurice (Alun Armstrong, Braveheart). Philip is intent on destroying “Possum,” a hideously malformed spider-puppet he carries with him in a brown leather case. Unfortunately, and horrifically, Possum refuses to be abandoned. Philip’s mind is flooded with painful half-memories and nightmarish visions, and when he finds himself embroiled in a local investigation surrounding a missing boy, he grows progressively unsure of what’s real and what’s not. All the while Possum seems to mock his suffering at every turn.” A hallucinatory venture into a truly damaged psyche, Matthew Holness’(Garth Marenghi‘s Darkplace) Possum is a twisted trip of terror where both nothing and everything is exactly as it seems. Two Legendary Characters Returning To ‘Resident Evil 2’
Today fans got the chance to play the demo of the upcoming Resident Evil 2 where they only have one shot to escape the Raccoon City Police Department building in 30 minutes. I tried and failed (but did not die!). Even if you completed the challenge in the 1 Shot Demo, your reward is the latest trailer for the upcoming game. Those familiar with the original story will see that there are some minor changes but it seems the overall story is the same. To my surprise and joy, the trailer also teased at the return of two legendary characters that appear at the end of the original Resident Evil 2, HUNK and Tofu! In the original game, after completing the main story, an extra game mode would start called 4th Survivor where HUNK is the sole survivor of a special operations team sent to recover samples of the G-virus. This is the only time the character is seen as

New ‘Final Destination’ Movie Is Headed Our Way
Final Destination fans have been begging for a new installment for years and they’re finally getting their wish, sort of. THR is reporting that Final Destination is getting a “re-imagining”. New Line Cinema has hired horror writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan to pen the script. The duo is most recognized for writing four of the Saw films as well as Piranha 3DD. Dunstan is also working on the upcoming Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark film. The first Final Destination debuted in 2000 and was hit, bringing in $122 million. That’s not bad for a film made on a $23 million dollar budget. With non-stop thrills and seriously epic kills, I’m not surprised it made fans happy. There is still a question as to whether or not Tony Todd will be reprising his role, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed. Hopefully, we’ll know more soon. In the meantime, here’s the original’s trailer.

‘Zombieland 2’ Begins Filming In Atlanta
After years of hoping the Zombieland sequel is finally set to begin filming this month in Atlanta, with some scenes filmed in Tennessee. A lot of fans are having trouble believing the sequel is actually coming, but we can confirm that it truly is. Woody Harelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin will all be returning along with director Ruben Fleischer. We also know that several new characters have also been added, Reno, TB, Cleveland, Madison. Avan Jogia will play the role of Berkley. Zoe Deutch will star as one of the new characters, though we are not sure which one. Word is Ghostbusters alum Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd have both also joined the cast. That raises the question of how Murray will be involved since his character was killed off in the first film. This time around, the group will face a new threat, a new breed of zombie has been born. The new super-zombies are faster,

Movie Review: Dry Blood (2017)
Brian Barnes (Clint Carney, who also wrote the film) is a major league fuck-up. He’s pissed his life away with drugs n’ drink…and now he’s decided to retreat to a remote cabin (always a shit-hot idea in a fright flick) to try and dry his ass out with the help of his pal Anna (Jaymie Valentine). Complicating matters is the constant intrusion of a local sheriff (Kelton Jones, who directed the film as well), and some pesky, and sanity threatening, hallucinations and ghosts that may just reduce Barnes to a quivering mass of jelly before the yarn unspools! Oh Dry Blood, you magnificent, wildly uneven, bastard. For the first half of this film, you will doubtless ask yourself “Why on Earth am I trudging through this nonsense?” Scenes go on forever, Carney is a rather unlikable lead, and Valentine…well, let’s just be charitable and say her acting (and wig???) leave a shit-ton to be desired (though after the picture ends
