Back in 1995 Rusty Cundieff’s anthology, Tales From the Hood was released. While we have seen plenty of anthologies since none have captured Tales From the Hood‘s unique flavor. The news came via writer/director Rusty Cundieff’s Twitter account in a now-deleted tweet on January 5, 2018, that said, “In New Orleans Location scouting for Tales From The Hood 2 This is part of Anne Rice’s old Home and where she held her LeStat parties.” He confirmed the film again earlier tonight in a tweet which reads, “Can’t scream it but…yeah…” and featured an image from the original movie. Take a tour of the most haunted house in America in the new, haunting trailer for Winchester that teases the darkness and terror of the real-life inspired tale of Sarah Winchester. Winchester, written and directed by Micheal and Peter Spierig, follows the story of firearm heiress Sarah Winchester, played by Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren. Built by Sarah Winchester (Mirren), heiress to the Winchester fortune, it is a house that knows no end. Constructed in an incessant twenty-four-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week mania for decades, it stands seven stories tall and contains hundreds of rooms. To the outsider, it looks like a monstrous monument to a disturbed woman’s madness. But Sarah is not building for herself, for her niece (Sarah Snook), or for the brilliant

There’s A ‘Harry Potter’ Easter Egg In ‘Dying Light: The Following’… And It’s Spooky!
I’ve been playing Dying Light for a while now as well as its DLC The Following. Amazing game, but eventually I got a little bored and wanted to find a way to make it interesting, so I was looking around the internet to find information on some Easter Eggs. One that jumped out to me was a Harry Potter Easter Egg in Dying Light: The Following where they say that under the stairs of this creepy abandoned house is the famed Boy Wizard’s bedroom while he lived with his Muggle relatives. I found a picture showing where the house in question was located in which I hopped into my buggy and drove to the location, running over zombies that got in the way. After arriving at the abandoned hovel I walked inside and true enough, compared to other houses you can enter, it was abandoned and spooky. Note Spoilers ahead after the picture of the map! Once I explored the

INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY Doesn’t Unlock Anything New
The fourth film and second prequel in the increasingly confusing “Insidious” series “The Last Key” doesn’t unlock anything new. More demons, more possessions, more creepy creatures with long creaky limbs; it’s more of the Insidious you know and love, except worse. Lin Shay is great as always as demon fighting elderly ass kicker Elise Rainer, but everything else is getting tired. This time around Elise and her sidekicks Tucker and Specs are visiting Elise’s childhood home, where a key fingered demon is crawling around and causing havoc. Add in an appearance from a few more Rainer family members (one of whom has inherited Elise’s powers) some of the most uncomfortable “comic relief” I’ve ever seen, and plenty of long, tension and scare free scenes of people walking slowly, and you’ve got a film that stretch’s its 103 minute running time like a poor fitting pair of pants. Elise is an amazing character, and in small doses Tucker and Specs aren’t

It is no secret that my favorite monster is the one built by Dr. Frankenstein. A few days ago, this icon turned 200 years old! The suspense and horror of Dr. Frankenstein reanimating assembled body parts, the monster spying on an unknowing family, and the creature’s revenge on his maker take on whole new meaning when accompanied by Plunkert’s mystical, layered interpretations.” This extremely special collector’s item will be
