Massacre at Burger Chef
I have always found that unsolved murders and crimes are absolutely terrifying. The thought that people can commit heinous acts and then go about the rest of their lives without punishment, consequence or atonement is not only terrifying, but astounding with resources at our disposal for crime solving. I understand that the real world is not CSI…and it is definitely not CSI:Miami, but it still boggles me how people can walk away from their real life horror. On November 17, 1978 four staff members were closing up at the Burger Chef franchise in Indiana. Suspicions were aroused when none of them returned home after their shift. Police assumed that they had all gone off partying with $500 that had also gone missing, but the truth was much grislier. Two days after their disappearance, all four bodies were found less than 20 miles from the burger joint. Two had been shot (Daniel Davis – 16 years old, Ruth Shelton – 17

It’s been nine years since “Dollface”, “Pin-Up Girl”and the “Man in the Mask” set upon and terrorized a young couple in their secluded vacation home in Brian Bertino’s 2008 film, The Strangers. Now the trio are coming out of hiding, if they were in fact really hiding, to wreak similar havoc upon a family of four in a whole new venue. Bertino is back to write the script for The Strangers 2, and will be joined in this endeavor by The Forest screenwriter, Ben Ketai. However, this time around it will be The Other Side of the Door director, Johannes Roberts, sitting in the director’s chair as the gruesome threesome commit their malevolent acts. As of right now, the US based production of the film is preparing for cameras to roll sometime this summer. When the dust had settled at the end of the last film, “Pin-up Girl” remarked to “Dollface”, “It’ll be easier next time”. Well, I guess once

John Borowski’s SERIAL KILLER CULTURE TV Coming Soon to Amazon
Serial killers, there’s no doubt that it’s a subject that fascinates us as a society. The evidence can be found in the popularity of movies and books chronicling the exploits of these real life monsters. Said fascination has even served as inspiration for the creation of fictional serial killers for the printed page and the big screen, who have taken their place in popular culture right beside their real life counter parts. But truth is, if you’ll pardon the cliché, stranger than fiction. One such person, who has spent time shedding light on the truths behind some of these historical homicidal maniacs, is author and filmmaker John Borowski. To date Borowski has made four documentary films about real life serial killers: Serial Killer Culture, Carl Panzram: The Spirit of Hatred and Vengeance, Albert Fish: In Sin He Found Salvation and my personal favorite of the bunch, H.H. Holmes: America’s First Serial Killer. Additionally he has written three books on the

Movie Review: ROMEO’S DISTRESS a Prime Example of Micro Budget Brilliance.
“Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love.” – Charles M. Schulz Let’s face it, unrequited love is a real son-of-a-bitch! It’s like being stabbed in the heart with a dagger, made of pure love and emotion, all the way to the hilt and broken off in your chest…or something like that. It may be different for some, but I digress. James is an unorthodox young man, who takes care of his loony old grandmother. He also likes photography and hanging out in the cemetery, while sometimes singing little ditties about a “cheesecake of love”. He’s also a young man who fully understands the aforementioned concept of unrequited love, because he too is afflicted. The object of his desires is a beautiful young woman named Jane. And while James hasn’t directly expressed this to her, it’s anyone’s guess as to whether Jane is privy to his feelings for her or how deeply said feelings run. However,

Anna Marie Hahn…Killer of the Elderly
Happy Women in Horror Month! This month we celebrate the women in the world of horror. I have done a number of articles on serial killers, mass murderers and other horrific people, but this moth I turn my focus to the world of female terror. Anna Marie Hahn (Filser) was born in Germany in 1906. She was the youngest of 12 children and started her scandalous life at a very early age. At 12 years old she had an affair with a married physician and birthed a son named Oskar. Her horrified family sent her to the States without her child to live with relatives there. While in America, she met and married fellow German immigrant Philip Hahn. After this marriage, she was reunited with her son. Anna, however was not the doting mother that fairy tales are made of. She had a severe gambling habit and began a life of robbery to pay her debts. On May 6, 1933
