Seraphim Song by Pandie Suicide – Book Announcement
I interviewed Suicide Girl, model, actress, and now published author Pandie Suicide about her short film Massacre for Gores Truly a few weeks ago. When she found out that I did book reviews for Zombie Apocalypse Defense Force, she wanted to hop on board and send me a copy of her debut novel Seraphim Song to review! She also was kind enough to send along a short story called Vampire Summer which is also available on Amazon. Double win! The book absolutely sounds like something I would have written as a teenager (obsession with mythology – check, obsession with music icons – check), so the idea that this is something Pandie wrote as a teen seems realistic. I can’t wait to check out both of these pieces. Book Description: An angel with a musical gift from the gods falls for a mortal woman. Left in limbo on earth, Will A. Is half angel and all rockstar. Doomed to walk alone

Terror Films presents “Trace,” a supernatural thriller that follows a group of friends experimenting with a specific type of Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). Now, they are in a race against time to destroy the transmission in order to save themselves and prevent a demon from entering our world. ‘Trace” stars Nick Fink, August Roads, Jesse Pepe, Samantha Lee, Maddie McGuire, Jerod Meagher, Jeremiah Benjamin, Mike Capozzi and Herion Mustafaraj, and the cast is great! From the first time we see the large group of friends, we instantly get a sense of who these characters are simply by their “look” and attitude. With that said, the main cast is so large, it was sometimes confusing at times to concentrate

‘The Orphanage’ director J.A. Banyona’s new film, ‘A Monster Calls’, is based on the Youth novel of the same name by Patrick Ness. Ness also penned the screenplay for the film. The story centers on Conor, a 13-year-old boy coping with his mother’s terminal illness. Conor, waking from the same nightmare he’s been experiencing for months, “the one with the darkness and the wind and the screaming”, at seven minutes after midnight, hears a voice calling to him from outside his bedroom window, which over looks an old church and a graveyard, sheltered by a yew tree. Walking to the window, Conor meets the monster, a towering mass of branches and leaves in a human shape. A DOOM-ed Reboot
It’s not actually doomed. I just really, really wanted to make that pun. In fact, it’s quite the opposite of doomed. After years of silence and turmoil about the game, it has finally started to poke it’s head out of the ground. All thanks to Bethesda Softworks for jumping in to publish it. A trailer was released at this years E3, and while no official release date has been set, we should see it within the first half of 2016. It’s still definitely a Doom game, complete with hellspawn, devastating weaponry and oodles of buckets of blood. And with today’s tech, we get badder hellspawn, bigger weapons and that satisfying sound of blood spatter drenching the walls of the UAC facilities. Those of you that have played Doom since the beginning will be glad to hear they are moving forward with a more fast paced shooting game, much like the original. Where Doom3 had us hiding around corners, looking out
