On Martin’s blog, he reminds fans that even though there are several Marvel series, a “Lord of the Rings” series and Netflix’s adaptation of Neill Gaiman’s “Sandman,” “House of the Dragon” is at the top of IMDb’s most anticipated pole. He also had this to say: “I am anticipating ‘House of the Dragon’ pretty eagerly myself, for what it’s worth. Okay, I am hardly objective. And I know a lot of what you will be seeing. Friday the 13th 3 actor and entertainment lawyer Larry Zerner has been keeping fans posted as the battle over the rights to the classic has raged between Sean Cunningham/Horror Inc. and writer Victor Miller. According to Zerner, Cunningham failed to file a petition and that the rights belong to Miller. https://twitter.com/Zernerlaw/status/1476345331352674308?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1476345331352674308%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fbloody-disgusting.com%2Fmovie%2F3697450%2Fbreaking-friday-13th-case-allegedly-officially-victor-miller-owns-screenplay%2F https://twitter.com/Zernerlaw/status/1476345334565523457?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1476345334565523457%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fbloody-disgusting.com%2Fmovie%2F3697450%2Fbreaking-friday-13th-case-allegedly-officially-victor-miller-owns-screenplay%2F So, what does that mean for the classic and the franchise? According to Zerner, unless the two come to an arrangement, we won’t likely see Jason again for a while. But do we really need to? Do we really need another reboot or crappy sequel? Miller could allow a studio to make a remake or reboot but Cunningham can’t make another Jason Vorhees movie without Miller’s permission and after the legal battle, that’s probably not going to happen. Be sure to check out our interview with Vic

Movie Review: For The Sake Of Vicious
What would you do if you found the man that sexually assaulted your daughter? That’s what the indie film For the Sake of Vicious, from directors Gabriel Carrer and Reese Eveneshen, is all about. The movie follows a vengeful father out for justice against the man who assaulted his young daughter. After beating the shit out of the man he seeks help from a nurse who becomes trapped as murderous men descend on her home. Nick Smyth plays the role of Chris, the avenging father. I was so impressed by the level of emotion Smyth emotes and the way he made his character feel real. Also, I was quite impressed with the fight he puts up against the masked men, and boy did he put up one hell of a fight! Speaking of fighting, this movie has a ton of action, and it doesn’t mind getting bloody and gory. My favorite blow came from actress Lora Burke (Romina) when she
