First Images Arrive For ‘Open 24 Hours’ Ahead Of FrightFest

The first batch of images has surfaced from Padraig Reynolds‘ Open 24 Hours ahead of its World Premiere at the upcoming FrightFest Film Festival in London. Heavily influenced by John Carpenter’s Body Bags episode, the film centers on a delusional young woman working at an all-night gas station. “John Carpenter’s Body Bags episode ‘The Gas Station’ and High Tension for sure,” Reynolds has stated. “Since we shot in Serbia in the winter I really wanted to capture the cold and the rain. Horror Comedy ‘Book Of Monsters’ Releases Gore Filled Trailer Ahead Of FrightFest

Ahead of its world premiere at this year’s FrightFest, the trailer for the horror comedy Book of Monsters has released its first gore-filled trailer. Filled with gore, sex, and supernatural entities, the film, directed by Stewart Sparke and written by Paul Butler, stars Lyndsey Craine, Michaela Longden, Lizzie Stanton, Daniel S. Thrace, Anna Dawson, Rose Muirhead, Arron Dennis, Steph Mossman, and Nicholas Vince (Hellraiser). In the film, “Sophie’s 18th birthday party becomes a bloodbath when six terrifying monsters descend upon her house, intent on devouring the party guests and killing anyone who tries to leave. As her school friends are torn apart and eaten, Sophie must rally a band of misfits and take up arms to send their party crashers back to hell. A Nun Burns In One Of The First Images From ‘Heretiks’

Remeber the fantastic werewolf film Howl? Well, director Paul Hyett is back with a new terrifying tale, Heretiks, which is heading to Frightfest where it will make its world premiere. Ahead of its debut, we have a first look at the supernatural to share with you and it’s pretty creepy. This frightening flick stars a cast full actors and actresses with serious horror cred, including Michael Ironside (Total Recall), Clare Higgins (Hellraiser), and Hannah Arterton (“Safe”). VMI Worldwide has just announced that it has acquired the new mother-daughter survival thriller The Russian Bride, directed by Michael S. Ojeda (Avenged). The film has just been screened at the European Film Market (EFM) and has brand new artwork. Javier Botet is a name every horror fan should recognize. Botet has appeared in so many genre films as the monsters we love to fear, including in films like Cabin in the Woods, Mama, and The Conjuring 2 where he brought the Crooked Man to life. Theatrical Trailer Released For ‘To Hell And Back: The Kane Hodder Story’

Ahead of its August 26th screening at Fright Fest in London, Masterfully Macabre Entertainment has unveiled the theatrical trailer and poster for To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story (above).
