A Troubled Man Fights To Save His Lover In ‘Wretch’ – Coming Home This May

This May, Random Media’s horror-thriller Wretch, written and directed by Matthew Dunehoo, is coming home. Wretch follows Nat Harris, a young man who should be celebrating his 30 days sobriety, but instead he’s coming undone. Booze suppresses hallucinatory visions of a disfigured face that’s haunted him since childhood and getting clean means the visions are back with a vengeance. Things get worse with the news that his new boyfriend, Adam, has cancer. As Adam shares his fears, Nat tries to assure him that he is not going to die. Jean Alexander owns the vegan café where Nat works. She’s convinced he is spiritually “gifted” and an ideal candidate to learn the obscure occult healing modality she practices called “Enceladism,” popularized by her self-help guru Pete, an Irish mystic living near Kansas City. Martin L. Washington Jr., (Alaska Is a Drag), Shannon Conley (Cutie Honey), Joe Rooney (Monged), Erin Day (The Dinner Guest), and Maria Olsen (Percy Jackson & the Olympians:

When Still/Born premiered on Shudder on Mother’s Day in 2018, it was clear that they understood what the film was going for and allowed it to shine,” said Christensen. “With Z, we once

A Dark Secret Society Is At Work In ‘The Dark Red’ Trailer

A woman is convinced her baby was ripped from her womb and taken away by a sinister cult – but no one believes her bizarre story – in the gripping paranoid thriller The Dark Red, the latest film from the creator of the James Franco-starring horror mystery The Vault. A young woman is committed to a psychiatric hospital after claiming that her newborn has been abducted by a secret society called the Dark Red – an ancient, underground cult that harvests and controls an incredibly rare blood type that gives one the power to hear and guide another person’s thoughts. The woman, Sybil, claims she is special, that she carries a pure and powerful strain of the blood like nothing seen before, and that the society sees her and her child as central to its next evolution – or perhaps its greatest threat, should she turn against them. Movie Review: Deep Web (2020)

Markus (Daniel Leclerc), a recent transplant to a new country, spends a shit-ton of time playing video games… which is a whole hell of a lot safer than what he gets into when he pays a hacker to give him access to the dark web where he observes some strait up real-life horror biz on a freaky forum. Of course the powers that be don’t cotton to Mark throwin’ his putrid peepers on their ghoulish goings-on and so begins a tense game of cat and mouse our hero might not survive! Let’s start with some of the positives ol’ Deep Web has to offer. Writer/director Jessy Dupont presents his terror tale with a lot of panache thanks to some slick cinematography and editing (both courtesy of Dupont himself), and this helps create a stylish world that is perfect for a techno-thriller such as this, and the story is on point as well with some solid twists and turns, and some

Movie Review: Before the Night is Over (2020)

Poor Samantha (Samantha Acampora); her parents are recently deadsville, and she’s been whisked away (by means of one creepy chauffeur) to her aunt’s opulent bordello… a deviant domicile where every dark sexual desire is satisfied among the all-male clientele… for a price. As fate would have it, folks start pulling the ol’ vanishing act left and right, and Sam gets on the case with the quickness… and before long the deep, dark secrets that are harbored within the wicked walls of that house of ill repute come tumblin’ into the light! Independent horror maestro Richard Griffin (aided and abetted by frequent co-writer Lenny Schwartz) really cranks up the Euro-horror vibe in his newest release, and man-oh-fuckin’-man is Before the Night is Over a fright flick that lovers of Franco (Jess that is) will doubtless eat up with revoltin’ relish! We get a freaky flurry of rich crimsons, jade greens, and chiaroscuro shadows (not to mention plenty of shots you’d swear
