Watch The Infection Spread In The Trailer For The Cabin Fever Reboot

Last year we reported that a reboot to Eli Roth’s 2002 outbreak film, Cabin Fever, was in the works via IFC Midnight. The reboot is all wrapped up and will open in select theaters and on VOD on February 12th, 2016. Yesterday a series of new new images surfaced from the film and the trailer released and we just happen to them here. The reboot, directed by Travis Zariwny, was originally described as an exact remake, but that rumor has since been clarified. The film was based on the original screenplay by Eli Roth, but it has now been stated that aspects of the new version will be completely different, including all new death scenes. In both films, five friends on spring break head to a remote cabin on a lake. After arriving a plague-like, flesh-eating virus takes hold. The reboot stars Gage Golightly (Exeter), Matthew Daddario (Shadowhunters), Nadine Crocker (Deadgirl), Dustin Ingram (Paranormal Activity 3), Samuel Davis (Sin City), Randy

X Files Season 4 – 6 Breakdown Part 2

Last week I left off just before the end of season 3, the reason I did this was because there was a lot of new information to cover and I did not want to confuse fans (old and newcomers alike) halfway through the breakdown. If you missed last weeks and need to catch up, it can easily be found here: SEASONS 1 – 3 Now back to the breakdown: ___________________________________________ At the end of season 3, we learn of a magic healer named Jeremiah Smith who has the ability to heal anyone with the simple touch of his hand. Agents Scully and Mulder are sent to investigate this miracle as the man has disappeared. Meanwhile, The Smoking Man, meets with Mulder’s mother and the two argue as someone photographs of them are taken from a distance. That evening Mulder is informed his mother has had a stroke and while in the hospital, she writes the word “Palm” on a piece

King’s Cell To Debut At The Glasgow Film Festival

We reported back in February of 2015 that Stephen King’s novel Cell was coming to the big screen, but we have heard nothing since about the film, until now. John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson, who both starred in King’s 1408, will be reuniting for Cell. Isabelle Fuhrman, Stacy Keach, Lloyd Kaufman, Griffin Freeman, Joshua Mikel and Wilbur Fitzgerald also star in the film. Cell follows Cusack’s character, an artist, who teams up with other survivors after a mysterious cell phone signal turns much of the population into mindless killers. The film was scripted by King and The Last House on the Left’s Adam Alleca. Tod Williams (Paranormal Activity 2) will direct. Cell will premiere at Glasgow Film Festival in Scotland this February, followed by it’s general release later this year.

Part 1 of The X-Files Breakdown Seasons 1 – 3

The X-Files centers around two F.B.I. agents, Fox Mulder, the believer, and Dana Scully, the skeptic. The two spent 9 seasons and 2 major motion pictures investigating the strange and unexplained, all while hidden forces worked to impede their efforts. The X-Files was inspired by shows which featured elements of suspense and speculative fiction. The two could not be more different, Mulder, a firm believer in the paranormal searches for the truth hidden in the government all while continuing his search for his abducted sister, Samantha. Scully, spent years studying to be an MD before changing careers and joining the F.B.I. Scully looks at everything from a scientific standpoint and is originally sent to debunk Agents Mulders work. While she agrees with Mulder through much of the series that certain things can not be explained, her and Mulder’s reasonings always differ. The show offered multiple “monster-of-the-week” type episodes which were loosely based off “Alfred Hitchcock Presents,” “The Twilight Zone,” and

You’ll Know His Name

You’ll Know My Name Drama 2010 Not Rated Directed, Written & Produced by Joe Raffa Starring: Joe Raffa, David J. Bonner, Alexander Mandell, Mianna Saxton, Chuck Connors, Tommy Sztubinksi, Brian Gallagher, Davy Raphaley, Nicole Cinaglia Website: YKMN Cynema is not about reviews. While a critical look is often afforded to specific films, this is not about whether a film is “good” or “bad.” It’s about how they are MADE. My previous entries looked at wide ranges from Jurassic World to Halloween III.This is a look at a young filmmaker who has taken risks and made a film that is outside the realm of what is popular or what studios are developing. Joe Raffa is anti-Cynema because he does what few others are doing: he takes real risks. Thanks to the digital revolution, anyone with a camcorder and computer thinks they’re a filmmaker. Shooting your video and putting it up in ten minute bites online does not make you a professional.
