North Bend Film Festival Announces Line-up

The North Bend Film Festival is right around the corner and the full line-up for their inaugural edition, including Cinema Vista and Something Strange feature and short film programs, has just been announced. In addition to the films, the weekend of August 23rd to the 26th will be rich with events that embrace the town of North Bend, once the original shooting location for David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, such as a special Twin Peaks Tour, a scenic mountainside hike (offering attendees a rare chance for excursion!), and ‘Damn Fine Coffee’ mixers to kick off the mornings just right. From writer-director Sebastian Gutierrez, who penned The Eye and Snakes on a Plane, comes Elizabeth Harvest, making its theatrical debut this August. In the film, “newlywed Elizabeth (Abbey Lee) arrives with her brilliant scientist husband Henry (Ciaran Hinds) to his magnificent estate, where he wows her with lavish dinners and a dazzling tour of the property. Movie Review: Arte Factum: Legends (2018)

In a post-apocalyptic version of the wild west, folks covet a storytelling device (itself a primitive tattoo needle) and relate tales of a strange orb, the arte factum (think Heavy Metal‘s Loc-Nar) and it’s passage from owner to owner…you guessed it my fine fiends, we have an arcane anthology on our horrid hands (and I’ll be giving my two cents on each segment as we go)! Our wrap around takes place in a saloon in that nightmare world mentioned above, and it acts as a hub for each yarn spun…also the Four Horseman show up because…who the fuck cares; it’s cool! Depression is something we don’t talk enough about. Too many people struggle in silence which leads to suicide. The statistics are terrifying. Every 30 seconds someone commits suicide, over 3,000 people a day. And for every one of those, 20 more attempt it. Twenty-two veterans a day take their own life every day due to depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Those numbers are mindblowing. We need to find a way to help. Jalbert Brothers Open New Florida Movie Studio Jallywood

Producers, the Jalbert Brothers have big plans for both films and series. Following the first season of their his Amazon Prime series, “Haunted Tours“, they have just announced the opening of their new studio Jallywood which will make a serious impact on the Florida filmmaking scene. Later this summer they will be releasing the indie film Terror Talk, starring Sean Gloria (Followers). They will also be shooting season two of “Haunted Tours” starring Stephen Erkintalo and Victoria Catherine. Tara Reid Talks ‘Sharknado 6’, Saying Goodbye, And More In An Interview

With Sharknado 6, the final film of the franchise, approaching star Tara Reid sat down with me to discuss the movie, as well as some of the other films that she has starred in, and a few of the films she has coming out. Reid has starred in many roles on both TV and Film, including “Days of Our Lives”, The Big Lebowski, American Pie, Van Wilder, Urban Legend, “Scrubs”, Alone in the Dark, and of course, the Sharknado franchise. Horror Fuel: “You started acting at a really young age. What was your experience like growing up in the industry?” Tara Reid: “I don’t think I realized that I was growing up in the industry. I lived in New Jersey and started working when I was six. I went to auditions and everything in New York City. Then after high school, I moved out to L.A. to get to the place where we are talking on the phone right now.”
