During a radio interview with 99Jamz UnCensored rapper-actor-entrepreneur 50 Cent let it slip the he’s currently in talks with Black to star in Predator. “I’m working on some new projects. You ever heard of the movie Predator? I might be a part of that project this summer.” Image: swaggamusic.net “Fiddy” (Curtis Jackson) already has an impressive list of roles under his belt. Ash (Bruce Campbell) is partying hard in the first image from season 2 of Ash vs. Evil Dead. It seems Ash is living the good life after turning over the Necronomicon to Ruby (Lucy Lawless) in the season finale. But the party won’t last long according to executive producer Craig DiGregorio and Daily Dead. DiGregoria says that the “party is cut short when [Ash] must return home to continue the fight against evil.” “The second season of the STARZ Original series “Ash vs Evil Dead” will be 10 half-hour episodes. The cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, Burn Notice) in the role of Ash Williams; Lucy Lawless (Salem, Spartacus) as Ruby, who now possesses the powerful Necronomicon; Ray Santiago (Touch, Meet The Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolvier, Ash’s loyal sidekick dealing with the trauma he suffered in the cabin; and Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, who, grief-stricken after the death of

A Look At George James Fraser’s Short Horror Film Happenstance

Writer-Director George J. Fraser’s short horror film Happenstance is now making its rounds at film festivals. On March 15, Happenstance premiered at Chunky’s Cinema in Haverhill, Massachusetts to a sold out crowd along with Patrick Rea’s Pillow Fright, Andy Stewart’s Ink and other short films. The 12-minute short stars Kevin Whittier as a serial killer trying to fill the whole in his heart and his stomach with his victims. On a night out the killer stumbles across a damsel in distress (Christina Kostoulakos). Will she be his next victim or will she be much more? Charmaine Jossick, Michael Nelson, Sophia Nazzaro and Stabatha La Thrills co-star along side Whittier and Kostoulakos Happenstance is a uniquely twisted love story filled with gore. The short film’s emphasis is on happenstance: something that happens by chance; a series of random and coincidental events that brings to strangers together. I had the opportunity to watch an advance screening of Happenstance. It’s creative, interesting and

Movie Review: Final Girl (2015)

This morning I sat down to watch a movie that I had heard good things about, Final Girl. The film, directed by Tyler Shields, opened with a young girl sitting across a table from a stranger (Wes Bentley). During their conversation the man asks the girl a series of questions, gauging her answers to see if she is the girl he’s looking for. It’s revealed during the questioning that both of the girl’s parents are dead. He asks if she wants to come with him, so that he can train her. Her response? “Can I have ice cream?” Maybe it’s just me, but I would be asking a few more questions. In the next scene we see him teaching Veronica (Abigail Breslin) to fight. Her mission is assigned, take down a ring of killer friends, who like to hunt down blonde girls for fun. Of course, she sets it up where she happens to catch their attention. The leader of

Arnold Schwarzenegger May Battle The Predator Again

Arnold Schwarzenegger played one of his most iconic roles as “Dutch” in John McTiernan’s 1987 horror/sci-fi classic Predator. The original was the film only of the franchise that Schwarzenegger appeared in, but that may be changing. Word is, Schwarzenegger may be joining the cast for Shane Black’s upcoming sequel, The Predator. Black, who also directed Iron Man 3, is no stranger to the Predator franchise, which spawned several. In fact, Black starred in the 1987 original along side Schwarzenegger. Black played the role of Hawkins, one of the commandos in the film, sent into the jungles of Central America to rescue a group of hostages, only to find themselves hunted by an extraterrestrial warrior. “I haven’t talked with him (Shane Black) yet but I’m going to meet with him for lunch sometime soon.” Schwarzenegger told The Arnold Fans, a Schwarzenegger fan site. “Just as soon as I’m finished with this (Arnold’s Sports Festival) and “The Celebrity Apprentice” and all this

Hellraiser 10 Has Entered Production

In an interview with ScareTissue, Heather Langenkamp let it slip that Hellraiser 10 has entered production. There has not been an official announcement yet, but with the news now out there I’m sure it’s just a matter of time. Langenkampn, who you should recognize as “Nancy” from the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, is starring in the sequel, though it’s unknown at this time what the role is. “I actually have an opportunity to play a small part in Hellraiser – the new Hellraiser. I’m so excited about it. I go next week to do the shooting. The script is amazing and that I got the part is something that I find incredible.” Gary Tunnicliffe will be directing Hellraiser 10. Tunnicliffe is no stranger to Pinhead, he’s been with the franchise since the third film. The way that the film has been handled, with little publicity and no listing for the film on IMDb, is a little odd. Hopefully
