The Times Batman’s World Turned To Into A Nightmare

The Times Batman’s World Turned To Into A Nightmare

Batman’s role in the universe he exists in is largely centered on his biggest deficiency. As a ‘superhero’, he possesses a grand total of zero powers and simply relies on his human capabilities. The stakes are always maintained within human limits and the things humans can do to each other, rather than the more extravagant scale of world-saving that Superman might get up to. Of all the superheroes, many of Batman’s foes are some of the most disturbed and most twisted. The Joker or the Riddler, for example, are driven purely by desires for chaos brought on by the abuses they’ve suffered or awful events that befell them. Because Batman is only human, ideas like absolute power or ‘saving the universe’ simply aren’t in the ballpark he plays in. The character is perhaps best known for his wealth and high-tech arsenal, as well as his uncanny ability to plan ahead. Often, Batman is expected to have some trick or tool

Emma Corrin Boards Robert Eggers' 'Nosferatu' Remake

Tubi Celebrates The 100th Anniversary Of ‘Nosferatu’ (Watch Free)

In 1922, director F.W. Murnau made what is considered to be one of the first vampire films, Nosferatu. The ground-breaking silent, haunting movie, inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula, centers on vampire Count Orlok, played by Max Schreck, who expresses interest in purchasing a new residence and sets his sights on a real estate agent Hutter’s wife. To celebrate the film’s 100th anniversary, Tubi has an anniversary edition of the film streaming free to audiences, along with more than 5,000 other horror films and series which are also free. Nosferatu, from Bayview Entertainment, is a classic that every horror fan should see. Watch it now on Tubi. Featuring stop-animation special effects, the German-made horror, Nosferatu (aka Nosferatu the Vampire), has one of the most iconic vampires in cinema history. However, the heirs of Bram Stoker felt the film was a straight rip-off of Dracula, with only the characters’ names changed. They sued to have all copies destroyed, yet some survived and

Matt “Count D” Montgomery Talks “Metal And Monsters” In An In-Depth Interview

Mathew “Piggy D” Montgomery, aka “Count D,” aka “Piggy D”, is known for his musical talents, serving as the bassist in Rob Zombie’s band for the past 16 years, along with other bands. Montgomery is now serving as the host for Gibson TV’s new series “Metal and Monsters,” a fantastic show that explores the history of both metal music and the horror genre. Each episode features two guests, for example, the premiere episode (watch here) sees Montgomery sit down with Robert Englund and master of metal, Don Dokken to talk about A Nightmare on Elm Street and Dokken’s band. I sat down with Montgomery, who is incredibly down to earth and friendly, to talk about “Metal and Monsters,” his music, and so much more, for what is one of my favorite interviews in years. McNeely: “There’s a lot of overlap between metal and horror. Why do you think that is?” Montgomery: “I think it’s because people who are fans of
