Obsessions Grow In The Trailer For Horror Thriller ’15 Cameras’

This October, a couple becomes obsessed after discovering hidden cameras in their home in the indie horror thriller 15 Cameras from director Danny Madden. “When Cam and Sky bought their duplex, it seemed like the perfect investment opportunity for the young couple: a starter home, a mortgage offset by renters, and even a guest room for Sky’s sister, Carolyn. But as Sky and Cam slowly uncover hidden cameras and secrets of the duplex’s previous owner, obsession consumes their marriage, and they both fall into destructive forms of voyeurism. When new tenants move in downstairs, their fixation with observing others has deadly consequences, and they are forced to confront the very things they have been consumed by.” Written by PJ McCabe, 15 Cameras stars Will Madden, Angela Wong Carbone, Hilty Bowen, James Babson, Shirley Chen, Hannah Mckechnie, Skyler Bible, Courtney Dietz, Erik Leupp, Donna Allen, Brianne Moncrief, Jim Cummings, and Stephen Ruffin. 15 Cameras opens in Los Angeles theaters and lands

Spoiler- Free Film Review: Susie Searches (2022)

Director Sophie Kargman’s mystery thriller Susie Searches is a fun ride that offers an engaging main character and several surprises as it examines how far some people will go to become famous. Susie (Kiersey Clemons) is a university student with a part-time job at a burger joint, an internship at the local police station, and a true-crime podcast devoid of listeners. Susie takes her lifelong talent of guessing whodunit correctly when her mother — who currently suffers from MS — begins to read her mystery novels to try and solve the disappearance of popular fellow student and meditation influencer Jesse (Alex Wolff), who has been missing for about a week. Susie cracks the case, rescues Jesse and even names a suspect — and then things start going south. Kargman, who cowrote the smart screenplay with William Day Frank, paces the suspense nicely while serving up humor that ranges from the delightful to the dark. Clemons is terrific as the fame-hungry
