Amanda Seyfried Is Plagued By Dark Forces In Netflix’s New ‘Things Heard & Seen’ Trailer

This April, a couple discovers that a darkness lurks inside their new home in directors Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman‘s horror film Things Heard & Seen, starring Academy Award®-nominee Amanda Seyfried and James Norton. Written by Pulcini and Berman, based on the critically acclaimed novel All Things Cease to Appear by Elizabeth Brundage, the film centers on Catherine Clare (Amanda Seyfried) who reluctantly trades life in 1980s Manhattan for a remote home in the tiny hamlet of Chosen, New York, after her husband George (James Norton) lands a job teaching art history at a small Hudson Valley college. Even as she does her best to transform the old dairy farm into a place where young daughter Franny will be happy, Catherine increasingly finds herself isolated and alone. She soon comes to sense a sinister darkness lurking both in the walls of the ramshackle property-and in her marriage to George. Natalia Dyer (“Stranger Things“), Rhea Seehorn (“Better Call Saul”), Karen

Movie Review: ‘You Should Have Left’

Out of all the movies I’ve been excited about, You Should Have Left has been at the top of the list. Now that I’ve seen it I would like to share my thoughts with you. Kevin Bacon stars as Theo whose dark past haunts him, as does his nightmares. Filled with anger and jealousy, he tries to find some peace in the home he and his wife have rented for a getaway, but his life begins to unravel and something begins to manipulate his reality. As always, Bacon is fantastic. While he’s known for his roles in films like Tremors, he’s so great in serious roles and has a way of really making you feel what his character is experiencing. He reunited with director David Koepp for the film, who he worked with on the brilliant 1999 horror Stir of Echoes. They two are a great combo. Amanda Seyfried plays the role of Susanna, Theo’s much younger, beautiful, actress wife

Kevin Bacon Stars As A Father Fighting To Save His Family In ‘You Should Have Left’

From Blumhouse Productions and legendary screenwriter David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, Panic Room) comes the new psychological thriller You Should Have Left. Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried star as a couple seeking a restful vacation on an isolated edge of the world only to discover that secrets demand a reckoning … and travel with you. In this terrifying, mind-twisting tale, a father fights desperately to save his family from a beautiful home that refuses to let them leave. Theo Conroy (Bacon) is a successful middle-aged man whose marriage to his much younger actress wife, Susanna (Seyfried) is shredding at the seams, frayed by her secretiveness, his jealousy, and the shadow of his past. In an effort to repair their relationship, Theo and Susanna book a vacation at a stunning, remote modern home in the Welsh countryside for themselves and their six-year-old daughter, Ella (Avery Essex). What at first seems like a perfect retreat distorts into a perfect nightmare when

Amanda Seyfried Joins Kevin Bacon For ‘You Should Have Left’

Amanda Seyfried (Jennifer’s Body, Ted 2) has boarded You Should Have Left, the supernatural thriller from Blumhouse, and will star opposite Kevin Bacon (Tremors). David Koepp, the screenwriter behind Jurassic Park and Spider-Man, will direct the project set to begin filming later this year, THR reports. You Should Have Left is based on the novel of the same name penned by Daniel Kehlmann.
