Amanda Seyfried (Jennifer’s Body, Ted 2) has boarded You Should Have Left, the supernatural thriller from Blumhouse, and will star opposite Kevin Bacon (Tremors).
David Koepp, the screenwriter behind Jurassic Park and Spider-Man, will direct the project set to begin filming later this year, THR reports. You Should Have Left is based on the novel of the same name penned by Daniel Kehlmann.
Blumhouse described the film as “the unsettling story of a wealthy man with a younger wife and a 6-year-old child. Mistrust and suspicion characterize their marriage while they are in a remote location that may or may not be obeying all the physical laws of the universe.”
Seyfried will play the role of an actress with a secret and the wife of Bacon‘s character.
Bacon will serve as producer along with Jason Blum of Blumhouse.
