Fans have been foaming at the mouth in anticipation of the Halloween trailer to arrive after a series of images and a teaser was released. The trailer is finally here and it’s everything we’d hoped for and more!
Directed by David Gordon Green and written by Danny McBride, the film stars Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strode who has been training all these years for her brother’s return. Judy Greer plays Karen Strode, Laurie’s Daughter, and Andi Matichak stars as Laurie’s granddaughter, Allyson. Nick Castle, the original Michael Myers return as “The Shape” after 40 years.
Will Patton (Armageddon), Rob Niter (The Gym), Rhian Rees (The Lears), Virginia “Ginny” Gardner (Marvel’s Runaways), Miles Robbins (My Friend Dahmer), Dylan Arnold (Mudbound), and Drew Scheid (Stranger Things) co-star in the film which is a direct sequel to the 1978 original, ignoring every sequel that has ever been made.
The film was scored by John Carpenter who serves as executive producer along with Malek Akkad, and Jason Blum of Blumhouse. Green and McBride will executive produce under their Rough House Pictures banner.
Michael comes home on October 19, 2018, from Blumhouse.
