Eighty Office Drones with bombs in their heads, a kitchen filled with knives, a locker full of firearms, and a mysterious voice in the ceiling commentating on a game of death; what else could a horror fan ask for? With The Belko Experiment, writer and producer James Gunn harkens back to his Troma roots, delivering an over the top ode to carnage, nihilism, and primal savage. While the film’s message might muddled under an ocean of gore, and whatever insight it had to offer blown away like a Belko Employee’s cranium, Experiment offers what’s likely to be the most bloody fun time you’ve had in awhile; that is if your soul (and your stomach) can handle it. Belko’s premise is simple, with similarities that can be traced all the way back to Shirley Jackson’s The Lottery. 80 employees of the Belko Corporation, each with a bomb stuck in their head, are locked in their building and given two options; kill

Big news from the world of American Horror Story! Regardless of your thoughts about the recent USA election, you are about to see it turned into horror! For many people, this may not seem too far of a reach, but American Horror Story creator, Ryan Murphy, will bring his own twisted outlook on terror to the election in the upcoming season. Earlier this month ‘American Horror Story’ creator Ryan Murphy revealed that the theme of season 7 will be the election. Murphy recently explained the season in more detail to THR and revealed his reasons for choosing the theme of ‘American Horror Story: Election’. Well, one is to write about the divisiveness. American Horror Story is going to be about the election that we just went through. And what I’m interested in doing is not just the obvious, single-minded point of view but rather express all sides of that equation. What needs to happen in our country now is for people to listen to each other – we may not always agree with each other and we may be horrified by what the other side is doing but we have to move toward understanding. So that’s one example of what I’m going to do. And then all of the stuff that I’m developing now is going to be about illuminating and

The series’ creator, Ryan Murphy, has revealed back in October that we will be getting a crossover season. During a recent interview with EW Murphy went into more detail about the future season which will take place in either season 8 or 9. It’s a character from season 1 that will be thrust into the world that you are left with at the end of Coven, which is sort of like the male/female/witch academy. And then all of those characters will intertwine, which is confusing because some of them are from seasons 1 and 3. Like, Sarah Paulson will probably be playing 18 characters. At the moment we still don’t the theme of season 7, but we do know that ‘AHS’ regulars Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will co-star. We

By: Kenneth Johnson The appeal of crossovers has grown immensely over the last decade. Whether it’s in movies or televisions shows, producers have tapped into its appeal because it helps them bridge markets. In the case of TV shows, there are spin-offs, which feature characters from their respective series, or better yet, there are crossover projects in which all components of the two separate titles merge. Movies like Alien vs. Predator and Freddy vs. Jason are among the most famous horror crossovers and the video game industry has combinations like slots and bingo which produced the mashup Slingo as well as shooter titles Left4Dead and Resident Evil 6 which were made into a joint project. As for fans of horror TV shows, one of the hottest titles in television today has something big in store for its followers. The creators of American Horror Story shared some revelations regarding
