Chucky’s Back For New Television Series

Who doesn’t love that psychotic, red-headed, possessed doll, Chucky? Well, the word is we are about to get a lot more of him. As the 30th anniversary of Child’s Play approaches, Comingsoon.com is reporting that franchise creator Don Mancini is bringing Chucky to the small screen for a new series. Mancini said during an interview that he and producer David Kirschner are currently developing a Child’s Play television series that will pick up where the last film left off. He also promised that the series will be “dark and disturbing”. Brad Dourif, the long-time voice of our favorite Good Guy doll turned bad boy, is on board. The eight-episode hour-long series will not be a reboot (thank God), it will be a continuation of Chuck’s story. In the final moments of the last film, Cult of Chucky, Chucky possessed the body of Nica Pierce, played by Fiona Dourif, and escaped the mental institution. She was picked up by Chucky’s long-time

Don Mancini Teases That We Will See Chucky, Tiffany And Glen/Glenda Again

There was one thing missing from Cult of Chucky which was released last month. That’s Chucky and Tiffany’s spawn, Glen/Glenda who we met in Seed of Chucky. It left fans wondering where the little bugger was. Child’s Play creator, writer, and frequent director, Don Mancini was recently interviewed by Mezco. They asked Mancini about Billy Boyd, the voice of Glen/Glenda. The director had a simple but vague response: All I can say is…STAY TUNED!” When they asked about the future of the franchise he stated, “Expect the unexpected. Though not as unexpected as say, Chucky not being in the movie. I’d say you could expect that.” There have already been rumors of another sequel in the works and Mancini’s comments pretty much prove that we’ll see Chucky, Tiffany and Glen/Glenda together again. The response from fans over Cult of Chucky was enough to prove to the film industry that there is still interest in seeing the possessed doll again, and

Jennifer Tilly, Halloween And The Chucky Franchise

Jennifer Tilly is an actress and voice-over artist who has appeared in numerous animations and movies of various genres and different critical reception, from less praised films to the Academy Awards nominated Bullets over Broadway. However, she is probably best known for the part she plays in “Chucky” franchise. And we can safely say, there is no Chucky without her. With the release of the Cult of Chucky on October 3rd, the series gains its newest, seventh edition. All just in time for the jolliest time of the year (Halloween). Jennifer Tilly, who played the lead role, has been in every consecutive installment since the fourth one — Bride of Chucky, dating back to 1998. Tiffany, played by Tilly, brought something new to the table as previously Chucky was mostly represented as a murderer. Tiffany, on the other hand, while hopelessly in love with him, shows him a more human and compassionate side; although she doesn’t really hesitate to kill

Chucky’s Back In Action And On A Mission In Four New Clips From ‘Cult of Chucky’

Arriving on DVD, Netflix, and making its TV debut on AMC’s FearFest this October, Cult of Chucky is everywhere and we couldn’t be happier. We love that little evil doll who is voiced by Brad Dourif. In the film, confined to an asylum for the criminally insane for the past four years, Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif) is erroneously convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered her entire family. But when her psychiatrist introduces a new therapeutic “tool” to facilitate his patients’ group sessions — an all-too-familiar “Good Guy” doll with an innocently smiling face — a string of grisly deaths begins to plague the asylum, and Nica starts to wonder if maybe she isn’t crazy after all. Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent), Chucky’s now-grown-up nemesis from the original Child’s Play, races to Nica’s aid. But to save her he’ll have to get past Tiffany (Oscar-nominee Jennifer Tilly), Chucky’s bride, who will do anything, no matter how deadly or depraved, to help her

Alex Vincent Talks With Us About Cult Of Chucky And More

One of my favorite genre franchises revolves around Chucky, star of the Child’s Play films and Bride of Chucky which was followed by Seed of Chucky and Curse of Chucky. Now, the little red-headed possessed doll is back in Cult of Chucky. When we first met Chucky back in 1988, he stalked Andy, a young boy. Andy was played by none other than Alex Vincent, who also starred in Child’s Play 2 and 3. Vincent made his return to the franchise in Curse of Chucky and co-stars in the upcoming sequel Cult of Chucky. We got the chance to ask him a few questions about the franchise and more. Horror Fuel: “What was it like to be a child actor on the set of Child’s Play?” Vincent: “Working on the child’s play films as a child was a lot of fun! I got to leave school for a few months and go to LA to work on a film with

The New ‘Cult Of Chucky’ Trailer Is All Kinds Of Awesome !

Chucky is back and ready to slice and dice the patients of a mental institution in Cult of Chucky. The sequel, which we first reported back in 2014, wrapped filming in February. The first full trailer is here and it looks killer. The movie picks up four years after the events of Curse of Chucky. Creator-writer-director Don Mancini has promised that Cult of Chucky will be the bloodiest and goriest film of the entire franchise. That says a lot taking inconsideration the scenes in Seed of Chucky, including Method Man’s guts being spilled at the dinner table. In the film, Nica, played by Fiona Dourif, has been confined to a asylum for the criminally insane and is erroneously convinced that she, not Chucky (Brad Dourif), murdered her entire family. Everything We Know So Far About CULT OF CHUCKY

While he’s a vicious serial killer, it’s hard not to be fond of Chucky. Luckily, we will soon have a new sequel and I can’t wait to see what that little red-headed, possessed, psychopath will do next. The sequel, which we first reported back in 2014, is titled Cult of Chucky. We’ve been following the film’s development closely and were ecstatic to be able to tell fans that the movie wrapped filming in February.
