‘The Craft’ Reboot Conjures David Duchovny

Well, The Craft reboot just got a lot more interesting. Deadline is reporting that “X-Files” star David Duchovny has signed on for the film to play a yet to be announced character. We’re thinking one of the witch’s dad? Duchovny has joined previously announced cast members Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, and Nicholas Galitzine. Directed by Zoe Lister-Jones, the reboot of the beloved 1996 film follows a newcomer at a Catholic prep high school who falls in with a trio of outcast teen girls who practice witchcraft and wage war on those who have mistreated them. The film is being executive produced by Andrew Fleming who co-wrote and directed the original film. Jason Blum, Douglas Wick, and Lucy Fisher are producing. Hopefully, we will know more about Blumhouse, Sony, and Red Wagon’s new version soon.

Gillian Anderson Walking Away From Two Roles

Gillian Anderson confirmed rumors Wednesday during the Television Critics’ Association winter press tour that she is walking away from her long celebrated role as Agent Scully on ‘The X-files’. It’s time for me to hang up Scully’s hat. It just is,” she told reporters Wednesday, The Hollywood Reporter reports. “I’m finished and that’s the end of that. I arrived at the decision before we did the previous six, but I was really curious. I felt that the previous six was going to be it. It was dipping our toe back in again … and getting to play these wonderful characters again. I think as [series creator] Chris [Carter] has said himself that short stack of episodes felt like we were learning how to walk again and that this season of 10 feels like the pace is up and we’re running. I wouldn’t necessarily have been happy if those six were how we said goodbye,” she added. “There’s lots of things

Mulder And Scully Are On A Mission In This Sneek Peak Of ‘The X-Files’

The new season of ‘The X-Files’ is quickly approaching. To hold you over until it’s premiere this January we have a sneak peek. The season 11 premiere, written and directed by series creator Chris Carter, picks up exactly where the previous season left off. Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) become aware that they are not the only ones in a desperate search for William, their son. The must find him first, the fate of the world may depend on it. The second episode, titled “This”, opens with a time jump that puts distance between Mulder and Scully and the events of the premiere. Episode three is “a darkly comedic hour, penned by Chris Carter, focusing on doubles and doppelgängers. But beyond the humor, the larger mythology of The ‘X-Files’ — like the fallout from Scully’s abduction and the chip that was implanted in her neck — continues to shape Mulder and Scully’s world.” Mitch Pileggi will also reprise

Actress To Return “Home” For ‘The X-Files” Eleventh Season

If you are an ‘X-Files’ fan then odds are you remember the most disturbing episode that ever aired, “Home” which saw Mulder and Scully go up against the Peacocks, a family of inbred psychos that had not left on their secluded farm for more than a decade. EW is reporting that “Home” actress Karin Konoval, who played the Peacocks’ mother, has joined season 11 of ‘The X-Files’ that will premiere next year with 10 new episodes. While Karen Konoval won’t be reprising her role as the mother-under-the-bed in the fan-favorite episode ‘Home,’ she will be returning in a tour-de-force performance in an early episode,” Chris Carter told EW. “Or, more accurately — performances.” David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, and Mitch Pileggi will reprise their roles and will be joined by William B. Davis, Annabeth Gish, and Barbara Hershey. Here’s a clip from “Home” (season 4, episode 2) to refresh your memory.

The X-Files’ 11th Season Details Surface

After 25 years, ‘The X-Files’ is still a favorite to both new and old fans alike. Will we all know that “the truth is out there”, so when news came that we would be getting an 11th season we were ecstatic. The fact that season will feature more episodes than last year’s revival is just icing on the cake. This time around, fans will get a 10-episode season that will premiere in 2018. Both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will back to play their iconic characters Agent Fox Mulder and Agent Dana Scully. I mean let’s face it, it wouldn’t be ‘The X-Files’ without them. Mitch Pileggi will also be back, reprising his role as assistant director of the FBI, Walter Skinner. Annabeth Gish has announced that she will return as Monica Reyes from the 2016 revival. Several new cast members have been announced including Barbara Hershey (Damien) who have a recurring role as a “powerful figure who represents a

Several other co-stars will be returning. Annabeth Gish has now announced that she will return as Monica Reyes from the 2016 revival. She won’t be back alone. Mitch Pileggi will be reprising his role as FBI assistant director Walter Skinner. We expect more names to be announced soon. At the Television Critics’ Association’s summer press tour this week, Fox Entertainment president David Madden revealed the first details of the new season. When we start the [new] season, it will pick up right where the season finale from the last season left off,” Madden stated. “So it’s that big – if you remember the ending, with the helicopters [circling]. ‘The X-Files: Cold Cases’-The Truth Is STILL Out There…In An Audiobook

The X-Files: Cold Cases is a new full-cast audio drama that launched on July 18. Last year, fans were treated to a long awaited return of the hit sci-fi show that had us all looking to the skies. The X-Files returned with 6 new episodes, and while I enjoyed them all, I felt like 6 was just enough to get us all excited again and then leave us hanging. That’s why I was thrilled to learn that Audible was releasing a new audiobook this summer set in the X-Files Universe. It’s not just any audiobook, though. X-Files: Cold Cases is a full cast drama, so you’re getting an entire production, like a modern version of the old time radio shows from the 30s and 40s. Here’s the best part, though—the cast is comprised of our favorite actors from the actual TV show! David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their roles as Mulder and Scully, Mitch Pileggi returns as Walter Skinner,
