Game Of Thrones’ Laurence O’Fuarain Joins Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ Prequel

The world on Netflix’s hit game-based series “The Witcher” is expanding with a prequel series, titled “The Witcher: Blood Origin.” Deadline is reporting that “Game of Thrones” and “Vikings” actor Laurence O’Fuarain has been cast in the lead role of Fjall. Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen and Slim) will play the other lead character, Eile. “Born into a clan of warriors sworn to protect a King, Fjall carries a deep scar within, the death of a loved one who fell in battle trying to save him. A scar that won’t let him settle, or make peace with himself or the world around him. John Wick Writer Working On New “Dungeons & Dragons” TV Series

Have you’ve ever gathered around a table with your friends for a round of D&D, to cast the dice and enter a world of mages, rouges, and monsters? If the answer is yes, you will be thrilled to hear that Derek Kolstad, the writer of the John Wick franchise is bringing to life a series inspired by the game, “Dungeons & Dragons.” There is no word yet which network it will premiere on. The fantasy role-playing game, which is easily one of the largest role-playing games ever created, was first released in 1974 by game developers Ernest Gary Gygax and David Arneson. It rose to popularity in the 1980s and has gained traction once again during the pandemic due to its easy remote gameplay over services like Zoom. THQ Nordic has announced the release date of their upcoming action role-playing game, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, the remake of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The original game came out in 2012 and followed the story where players can play as one of four playable races with three classes to choose from each with 22 abilities.
