Actress/Producer Molly C. Quinn Talks ‘Agnes’, Faith, Trauma, & Horror In Our Interview

The supernatural horror-thriller Agnes is set to make its premiere at Tribeca. Ahead of its debut, we sat down with its star, Molly C. Quinn, to discuss not only her role but also how it affected her personally. Molly C. Quinn is a name you should recognize, she’s had roles in many films, such as We Are the Millers, Doctor Sleep, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2, but you will probably recognize her more from her long-running series role on the crime series “Castle”, in which she played Alexis, Castle’s (Nathon Fillion) daughter. She’s easy to spot with her stunning long red hair. In Agnes, directed and co-written by Mickey Reece, a nun’s disturbing behavior sparks rumors of demonic possession at a remote convent. When a priest-in-waiting and his disillusioned mentor are sent to investigate, their methods backfire, leaving a wake of terror and trauma, and another nun struggling with her faith. Brightburn’s Timothy Williams Talks Music, Superheroes, And Much More In An Interview

While a film’s soundtrack may not be at the forefront of films, it should be. Music is the heartbeat of a film, controlling pace and emotion. Timothy Williams, a composer, has created many of those melodies heard in films such as Get Out, IT, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Deadpool 2. I sat down with Williams to talk about one of his most recent projects, creating the scores for James Gunn’s new film Brightburn, part superhero movie, part horror film. In the film, a couple (Elizabeth Banks and David Denman) adopt a baby from another world. They raise the boy (Jackson A. Dunn) to use his powers for good, but evil begins to grow within him. Written by James Gunn and Mark Gunn, Brightburn takes over theaters on May 24, 2019, from Sony Pictures. James Gunn Returning To His Horror Roots For New Film

There’s no question that James Gunn is an amazing filmmaker. Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise proved that to the world. Now, Gunn is gearing up to return to his horror roots as a producer for a still unnamed genre film written by Gunn’s brother Brian and his cousin Mark Gunn, the writing duo behind Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. The film will be directed by Gunn’s longtime collaborator David Yarovesky, the man behind the stomach-churning 2015 film The Hive which had some viewers fainting and puking. Financed by The H Collective who will produce, the film will see Gunn produce under his Troll Court Entertainment banner. Nic Crawley of The H Collective will serve as executive producer. At the moment the plot and cast for the untitled project is being kept under wraps, but we do know that it is aiming to start production in spring of 2018. Co-Workers Discuss Options In New Exclusive Trailer From The Belko Experiment

Today, we have a special treat, an exclusive clip from ‘The Belko Experiment’ from director James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy). Written by ‘Wolf Creek’s’ Greg McLean, ‘The Belko Experiment’ has an impressive cast that includes Josh Brener, Tony Goldwyn, John Gallagher Jr. , Sean Gunn , John C. McGinley , Adria Arjona, Brent Sexton , Melonie Diaz , Abraham Benrubi, David Dastmalchain, Owain Yeoman, Rusty Schwimmer, and Michael Rooker. Official Synopsis: In a twisted social experiment, 80 Americans are locked in their high-rise corporate office in Bogotá, Colombia and ordered by an unknown voice coming from the company’s intercom system to participate in a deadly game of kill or be killed. In the clip the new exclusive clip we see a group of employees discussing their options of survival which may include the sacrifice of 30 co-workers’ lives. ‘The Belko Experiment’ opens in theaters nationwide on March 17, 2017 via Orion and BH Tilt.

James Gunn And Greg McLean Are Teaming Up For A New Project

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ writer/director James Gunn is teaming up with Greg McLean, the writer/director behind ‘Wolf Creek’, for a new project titled ‘The Belco Experiment’. James Gunn’s script for ‘The Belco Experiment’ has been shelved for a couple of years but is now finally going into production. Gunn has stated that the script is based on a dream he had one night. “The story revolves around the American Belco company in South America which is mysteriously sealed off at the beginning of a work day, and it’s employees are ordered to kill each other or be killed themselves. This starts an escalation of violence, where we discover the true nature of each and every Belco employee.” Gunn and Peter Safran (The Conjuring) will be producing ‘The Belco Experiment’. At the moment that is all we know about the project, save for the fact Gunn refers to it as ‘the most intense and uncompromising script” that he has ever written.
