Death House To Wrap Principle Photography Soon – First Images Released

Harrison Smith’s upcoming film Death House, referred to as “The Expendables of horror”, will wrap principle photography at Holmesburg Prison in Philadelphia next week. The film has a cast so impressive it makes you feel as if your head is going to explode. But don’t be mistaken, Death House, which is set to be the first film in a six film franchise, is not some gimmick that relies on cameos to carry the film. It has a great story. And no, there is no Freddy vs Jason scenes or anything like that. The stars play new characters from an original story created by Gunnar Hansen, the actor who played Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and written and directed by Smith. Smith has several great horror films to his credit, including 6 Degrees of Hell,Camp Dread, The Fields and Zombie Killers: Elephant’s Graveyard. And if you have read his pieces on “Cynema” on our website you would know that

Scream Queen Adrienne Barbeau’s Love Bites Getting Adaption

Director Harrison Smith, who regularly publishes articles on our site, heads the independent film department of Carolco Pictures along with actress Felissa Rose (Sleepaway camp). During the ‘Sleepaway Camp’ panel at the Rock and Shock convention in Massachusetts Rose revealed that she and Smith are working on a movie adaption of the 2010 novel ‘Love Bites’ by Scream Queen Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog,Tales of Halloween). Broke Horror Fan claimed an exclusive saying Rose mentioned that ‘Resident Evil’ actress Milla Javovich is in talks to possibly be the star of the adaption, but Smith would not confirm that when I asked about the statement. Harrison had this to say: “The article on Milla was preemptive and assuming. We have a great director attached and will be announcing. Script will be in the hands of several known actresses, but I’m not confirming Milla. We hope for a January start date.” In the novel, Detective Peter King of the LAPD finds himself caught

An Interview With Writer, Director, Producer Harrison Smith Of Carolco Pictures

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Harrison Smith. Smith is a talented screen writer, director, producer and the head of Independent Genre Development at Carolco Production. KM “How did you get started in the film industry?” HS “I was ten when my uncle gave me a Super 8 camera, I made silent movies, I made a comedy series with my brother. Then I had a comedy cable show. ‘The Fields’ was my first real movie.” KM “How did ‘The Fields’ come to be?” HS “‘The Fields’ is based on what happened to me as a boy. Movie Review : Camp Dread (2014)

At Camp Dread nothing is what it seems to be. Campers who have legal, drug or other serious issues have been forced to go to the camp by their parents. The campers have a choice to go head to head in a competition on what they think is a reality show. The last camper standing wins one million dollars. What the campers don’t realize is that writer/director Julian Barrett played by Eric Roberts, has something more devious in mind for the teens. This movie has twists you never see coming. With a fresh idea and unique story line writer/director Harrison Smith brings back the feel of the slasher summer camp movies of the 80’s. Made on a small budget, Camp Dread still packs quite a punch. This movie is a great fit for slasher movie fans. Camp Dread stars Eric Roberts, who has had roles in over a hundred movies including The Dark Knight, The Human Centipede III and Assault
