James Wan On The Conjuring 3 – The Warrens And Werewolves ?

James Wan is on fire. The Conjuring 2 had an amazing opening weekend at the box office, just like the The Conjuring did. Between the films’ success and the long list of investigations by The Warrens, who The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 were based on, it’s a no-brainer that more sequels will be made. It seems that the third installment of the franchise is already in the works, but not yet confirmed by Warner Bros. In a recent interview with Cinemablend Wan discussed one of the many possible subjects of The Conjuring 3 and the chance of it featuring something other than spirits and demons, werewolves. Maybe we can go and do it like a classic American Werewolf in London style. That would be awesome! The Warrens set against the backdrop of The Hound of Baskerville. Is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson The Next Wolf Man

These days, remakes and reboots are everywhere, especially in the horror genre. Universal Studios has already begun remaking all of their classic monsters films including The Mummy, The Invisible Man, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Wolf Man, which will all exist in their new shared universe which began with Dracula Untold. Each film will star some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp and Russell Crowe. Reports have now come that Universal is already eyeing a star for their Wolf Man reboot, scheduled to debut in theaters on March 30, 2018. They have set their sites on none-other than Hollywood all-star Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson to play the lead in the film. It’s still up-in-the-air if they’ll be able to sign Johnson, he’s a busy man with nine projects currently in the works. But I could definitely see him playing a werewolf. Yvonne Strahovski Will Be Fighting To Survive A Psychopath In Screen Gem’s He’s Out There

Screen Gems new suspense thriller He’s Out There is set to begin production next month with Dennis IIiadis in the director’s chair. The film, written by Mike Scannell, will star Dexter’s Yvonne Strahovski, according to Deadline. Strahovski will play the lead role of a mother who visits a remote lake house and finds herself fighting for her and her children’s lives when a psychopath turns the getaway into a nightmare. Bryan Bertino and Adrienne Biddle will produce for Unbroken Pictures, with Screen Gem’s President Clint Culpepper and Executive VP Scott Strauss over seeing the project. Strahovski also starred in the hilarious series Chuck as an undercover agent and the love interest of the main character, Chuck. She also appeared in the horror film I, Frankenstein, as well as co-starring in many other projects.

Something Is Wrong With Doris In The Trailer For Ouija: Origins Of Evil The Prequel To Ouija

The talking board is back to unleash an evil spirit in Ouija: Origins of Evil, the prequel to Universal’s 2014 ghostly tale, Ouija. Directed by Mike Flanagan (Hush, Oculus) and based on the screenplay he co-wrote with Jeff Howard, Ouija: Origins of Evil is based on the infamous board game from Hasbro that supposedly puts people in touch with the other side. Origins of Evil stars Parker Mack, Elizabeth Reaser, Annalise Basso, Kate Siegel, Sam Anderson, Henry Thomas, Annalise Basso, Lulu Wilson and the incredibly talented Doug Jones. It all begins when a mother, and fake medium, brings home a Ouija board. When her youngest daughter Doris discovers the board, she reaches out to her father that has passed away. Plot And First Two Cast Members Announced For Annabelle 2

We reported last week that Annabelle 2 , the sequel to 2013 horror hit Annabelle, had entered preproduction. David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) will be directing Annabelle 2, and he already seems very excited about the project. Sandberg and even called the sequel “The Godfather II of creepy doll movies.” Today, news comes that Lord of the Rings actress Miranda Otto is the first to join the film’s cast and will play the wife of a dollmaker. Her character has been described as “a disfigured recluse”. Otto will star long side Stephanie Sigman (Narcos, Spectre), who has been cast as the nun, Sister Charlotte. Otto and Sigman’s casting is not the only Annabelle 2 news today. The sequel’s plot was also revealed, and we were right, it is a prequel. The Stakelander, Stake Land’s Secret Sequel, Has Just Wrapped Filming

Filming wrapped yesterday on The Stakelander, the sequel to 2010’s Stake Land, EW reports. Up until now, the sequel has been kept quiet. Nick Damici and Connor Paolo are reprising their roles as Mister and Martin, the stars of the first film. Jim Mickle directed based on the script he co-wrote Damici. The Stakelander picks up several years after the events of Stake Land. Martin (Paola) finds himself alone in the badlands after his home was destroyed and sets out to find his vampire-killing mentor Mister, the only man who can help him get revenge. Starring Jen and Sylvia Soska, the action-packed horror film Blackburn will arrive on DVD this August, from 3Brane Entertainment. Back in April of last year, we reported that a remake of Herschell Gordon Lewis’ 1963 Blood Feast was in the works. Today we have the trailer for the remake, directed by Marcel Walz and written by Philip Lilienschwarz. Blood Feast stars Robert Rusler, Sophie Monk, Caroline Williams, Hershell Gordon Lewis, Liliana Nova, Metisha Schaefer and Sadie Katz as the goddess Ishtar. In the film, Fuad Ramses and his family have moved from the United States to France, where they run an American diner. A Spin-Off Of The Conjuring 2 Already In The Works

The Conjuring 2, directed by genre genius James Wan, arrived in theaters this past weekend and there is already a spin-off in the works at New Line, which will be penned by Conjuring 2 writer David Leslie Johnson. The studio revealed to EW that the spin-off will center on the story behind the terrifying nun featured in The Conjuring 2, which played a big role in the film that recounts the true story of the Enfield Poltergeist. James Wan and Peter Safran will serve as producers for the film. The Conjuring 2’s predecessor, The Conjuring, also spawned a spin-off about Annabelle, a haunted doll. The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2 and Annabelle are all based on the real life paranormal investigations of Ed and Lorraine Warren, played in the films by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.
