Check Out The New Trailer For The Horror Comedy ‘OverKill’

Both the official poster and trailer are here for writer-director-editor Alex Montilla‘s (Hot Tub Time Machine) new horror-comedy short film OverKill. Starring Amy Letcher, Mike Hall, and Will Coffin, the award-winning film is a comedic take on a familiar setup: when too-woke-for-their-own-good college kids are terrorized by an unstoppable masked killer, the final girl must outsmart him to survive. Only in this movie, the killer literally cannot be stopped (or killed). It’s an 80’s slasher movie by way of “Wile E. Coyote and The Road Runner” cartoons. OverKill is now making its film festival rounds. And we wouldn’t be surprised if the short ends up getting a feature adaptation in the future, because the trailer is freaking awesome. Check it out! Blu-ray Review: Lake Michigan Monster (2018)

Lake Michigan Monster concerns the adventures of Captain Seafield (Ryland Brickson Cole Tews, who also co-wrote/directed the picture); a man obsessed with the monster he believes killed his father in the shallow depths of Lake Michigan… though the details of said event are rather mutable in our hero’s constantly shifting narrative. Anyhow, that slap-happy seaman assembles a crack team to find and dispatch the beast… a team who’s ranks include: sonar expert Nedge Pepsi (Beulah Peters), weapons master Sean Shaughnessy (Erick West), and former N.A.V.Y. (Nautical Athletes and Venture Yunit) man Dick Flynn (Daniel Long). Of course Seafield is pretty much a complete moron, and his epic plans, which feature such grandiose titles as ‘Operation Master Baiters’ and ‘Operation Naughty Lady’, are pretty much a complete bust from the get-go; but still he soldiers on no matter how many monsters and madmen (besides himself) stand in his way! Movie Review: SLAXX (2020)

Ol’ Libby (Romane Denis) is happier than a clam in pigshit (of course as everyone knows, that is pretty damn happy) to be a new employee of an ultra-swank clothing store that is filled with plenty of those pretentious-ass types we all know and loathe. Anyway, one of those aforementioned asses steals a pair of jeans, puts them on, and before you can say “Ooh la la Sasson” she’s pinched in two by that ghoulish garment… and those putrid pants Hoover-up the red sauce left behind with the quickness!
