Go ‘Inside’ The English Remake Of ‘ À l’intérieur’ In The New Trailer

A new trailer for the English remake of Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury’s 2007 French genre film Inside has arrived. If the new version is anything like the original film we can expect an intense, brutal experience. In fact, the original version, À l’intérieur, is still considered one of the most extreme genre films released in the past 20 years. In the film, only months after a woman’s husband passes away, a pregnant woman is tormented in her home by a strange woman who wants her unborn baby. The remake, starring Rachel Nicholas and Laura Harring, was directed by Miguel Ángel Vivas and written by Manu Diez and Jaume Balaguro who co-directed [REC]. Producer Adrian Guerra stated that with the remake, ” We took the original idea and made it an edge-of-your-seat thriller, more Hitchcock-ian than a splatter-fest.” Check out the trailer. Unfortunately, it is dubbed in Spanish with no subtitles. Hopefully, we will see an English version soon.

With business not going well, Fuad takes a second job as the night shift at a museum of ancient Egyptian culture. During the long, lonely nights, he finds himself drawn to an ancient statue of the goddess Ishtar (Katz). He becomes more and more drawn to her as she speaks

Cronenberg’s version, which starred Jeff Goldblum as a scientist who transforms into a giant, mutated fly after an experiment goes wrong, was one of the greatest practical effect films of the time. It seems that every thirty years or so we get a remake of The Fly. So what’s the buzz? A new remake has just been announced. Deadline is reporting that Sleight director J.D. Dillard is in negotiations with 20th Century FOX to direct and co-write the script along with Alex Theurer who is behind 2017’s Stray. The duo has teamed up before, to pen the script for Sleight. At the moment that’s all we know. We assume that the film will stick to the same storyline as did the first two films. We will keep you updated.

Douglas Wick, the new film’s producer, told HitFix that the film is actually a sequel that picks up 20 years later. I wouldn’t say that we wouldn’t so much call it a remake as a ‘twenty years later’. Wick also discussed the vision that Phil Graziadei and co-writer and director Leigh Janiak have in store. Here are some young women who once again discover the power of magic, and we explore their emotional lives, their wants, their fears, their longings, as they become empowered. So you
