Malcolm McDowell In Talks To Star In ‘The Lost Boys’ Musical

Back in 2017 musician G Tom Mac, whose song “Cry Little Sister” became iconic after being featured on The Lost Boys soundtrack, sat down with us for an interview. During our conversation, G Tom Mac went into detail about plans to turn the classic movie into a musical. It’s been a few years since then, but the musical finally now seems to be moving forward. “I’ve been working on it for five years. I always thought ‘Lost Boys’ would make a great musical. I wanted to dig deeper into the characters and give everybody a backstory and how they all came together and how they became vampires. David is the most important vampire which Keifer Southerland played so well in the movie. We start the musical off with a five-year-old David and how he comes to America as an adopted child. That’s how it got started, figuring out how to build wonderful characters and keep the humor in there that

Movie Review: Abnormal Attraction (2018)

In a universe where fantasy characters and humans co-exist, people obsessed with the crazy creatures around them attend AA (Abnormal Attraction) meetings, lead by Dr. Stanley Cole (Bruce Davison) to work through their “feelings”. As the internet has demonstrated time after terrible time, people can get their horny on over the weirdest things…and the world of ol’ AA is no exception as we get tales of frisky folks enamored with a leprechaun, a zombie, the tooth fairy, bigfoot and many, many more (shudder)… Thankfully most of the jokes in Abnormal Attraction are gloriously offensive and hit their mark (and they damn well better seeing as how this is a comedy and all), but to write this off as just some dopey comedy (which it certainly is) with nothing going on between it’s ears would do this picture a disservice. You see, along with all of the nutty nonsense we get a rather poignant look at a world we should try

Movie Review: ‘Corbin Nash’ Is The Best Vampire Film We’ve Seen In Years

When I first heard about Ben Jagger’s Corbin Nash, which he wrote with Dean Jagger, I assumed that it would be a decent little action-vampire movie. I was wrong. Corbin Nash was actually fantastic. In fact, it is the best vampire movie I’ve seen in years. In the beginning, Corbin Nash (Dean Jagger), a tough no-nonsense detective, learns from two family friends (Rutger Hauer, Bruce Davison) a long-hidden truth, that his murdered parents were vampire hunters. Nash digs into the mass missing person case he and his partner Frank (Chris Pardal (interview)) are working. When Corbin and Frank think they have spotted two kidnappers (Corey Feldman, Richard Wagner) they learn that not only are the two men kidnappers, they’re vampires. During the fight, the two detectives are knocked out. While Frank is left behind, Corbin wakes up to find himself trapped among other victims and is forced to fight to survive. After a fight, he’s left for dead on the

A Cop Seeks Revenge In ‘Corbin Nash’ – Starring Corey Feldman

Corey Feldman has now confirmed that the vampire noir thriller Corbin Nash will be his first film in over a decade to premiere in theaters. Feldman plays the role of Queeny, a cross-dressing vampire in the film, a role that is far different from his iconic character Edgar Frog, the vampire slayer in The Lost Boys franchise. Corbin Nash‘s all-star cast also includes Malcolm McDowell, Rutger Hauer, Richard Wagner, and Bruce Davison, with Dean Jagger starring. The film, set in New York, centers on a rogue cop who is on a mission to hunt down the person responsible for the murders of his parents. Directed by Ben Jagger, Corbin Nash opens in theaters and arrives On Demand on April 20, 2018, from Gravitas Ventures.

Sound, Sex, And The Devil: ‘American Satan’ Is Simply A Triumph

As I sat down to watch American Satan I had the misconception that the film I was about to watch would be about music, I was wrong. What I watched unravel on the screen was much, much more. In the beginning, we see a rock band, “The Relentless”, come together, Johnny (Andy Biersack), Lily (Jesse Sullivan), Vic (Booboo Stewart), Leo (Ben Bruce), and Ricky (John Bradley), their manager. Playing their first big show at the Whiskey, they take the stage and see a packed house, that is until people’s social media notifications begin to pop up, notifying the crowd that Metallica is playing down the street. As the bar empties the band sees Elias, the record exec (Mark Boone Junior) one of the members met earlier in the day. As he walks out the band lays down their instruments and leaves. Just when they are at their lowest they meet the Devil himself, played by Malcolm McDowell. After they agree
