The theatrical release date has finally been announced for the highly-anticipated action-horror film Death House (review) From writer-director Harrison Smith. After 15 Years Of Production The Evil Within Finally Sees Release

Does the title The Evil Within ring a bell? No, not the game. After 15 years of production, The Evil Within has finally been released. No, that’s not a typo. The film took 15 years to make. What’s even stranger than the long production time is the story behind the film. Andrew Getty, heir to the Getty oil fortune and grandson of J. Paul Getty, wrote, directed and invested $6 million of his own money into the movie. Principal photography, which began in 2002, would start and stop, taking 5 years to complete. Getty insisted on making his own camera rigs, animatronics and sets. He worked on tweaking the film all the way up to his death on March 31, 2015 in an attempt to reach perfection. Sean Patrick Flannery, Michael Berryman, Fred Kochler, Brianna Brown and Dina Meyer star in the film, inspired by Getty’s own nightmares, which centers on a mentally challenged boy whose dreams are invaded by

Death House Releases New Promotional Art

Death House, one of the most highly anticipated horror films of 2016, has just released new artwork by artist Sean Wilson. Director Harrison Smith had this to say about the new poster: We hope the artwork reflects the complexity of the film, hints of steam punk and also a solid sign of the horror Death House contains behind its walls. Smith pointed out an interesting detail about the artwork to me. If you look closely at the left eye (our right) you will see an aerial photo of the Death House facility. Smith, known for his films Camp Dread, The Fields, 6 Degrees of Hell, and Zombie Killers: Elephant’s Graveyard, not only directed but also penned the script, based on the original screenplay by Gunnar Hansen who played Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Hansen gave Smith his blessing on the new script before he passed away in 2015. Death House features a cast of genre legends like we’ve

The Horror Western Kill Or Be Killed Approaching Release

Horror-westerns are big here lately, with films like Bone Tomahawk and the upcoming film Kill or Be Killed. Personally I am glad to see the trend. Horror-westerns are often an over-looked and under-rated subgenre. Kill or Be Killed will be stampeding onto DVD and Blu-ray on March 1st via RLJ Entertainment. The film was both written and directed by Duane Graves and Justin Meeks. In the autumn of 1900, outlaw Claude Barbee puts his “retirement plan” in action, attempting to lead his gang to recover a load of cash hidden after a botched railroad heist. The gang will soon discover that they are not only being hunted by the law, but a merciless evil. You can’t outrun the devil. Kill or Be Killed stars Michael Berryman, Tina Rodriguez, Justin Meeks, Paul McCarthy-Boyington, Deon Lucas, Bridger Zadine, Greg Kelly, Arianne Margot, Luce Rains, Larry Grant Harbin, Karrie Cox, Edwin Neal, Donny Boaz and others.

The Cast List Of ‘William Froste’ Just Might Blow Your Mind

‘William Froste’, a new movie in the making, is set to begin filming this September. The movie is described as “the ultimate dichotomy of innocence vs. evil that will leave an audience questioning their own moral convictions…” Young director Natalie Bible, known for her film ‘Hemlock’, is at the helm of this project with the screenplay written by Vance Savage. Director Natalie Bible Right now one major detail has been released about the project, it has a huge cast of well known actors. I don’t think I have emphasized just how big of a list of cast members will be starring in this good vs. evil movie, it’s a veritable “who’s who” of horror. I guarantee you will recognize most, if not all, of these names. The big question is, will the cast over shadow the screenplay? Tyler Mane (Halloween) Lew Temple (The Walking Dead) Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects) Muse Watson (NCIS) Leslie Easterbrook (The Devil’s Rejects) Kane Hodder

An Interview With Writer & Producer Kerry Fleming Of ‘Rock Paper Dead’

Last night I sat down for an interview with Kerry Fleming, the co-writer and co-producer of the horror movie ‘Rock Paper Dead’. Mr. Fleming and I had the best conversation about horror, that I’ve had in a very long time. It was very refreshing to hear him talk about his horror movie and the genre the way he did, with so much enthusiasm and pride. I know that those emotions will be evident in the quality of this movie, which I can’t wait to see. When I first heard about ‘Rock Paper Dead’ I was excited by the actors that had already signed up for roles, a group of true horror legends. ‘Cujo’ actress Dee Wallace, Michael Berryman of ‘The Hills Have Eyes’, and both Kane Hodder and Ari Lehman, who have played Jason in ‘Friday The 13th’, are all the cast list. ‘Rock Paper Dead’ also stars ‘X-Men’ actor Bruce Davison and Mikaela Hoover of the 2014 hit ‘Guardians
