Amazon Celebrates Success Of ‘The Tomorrow World’ With New Killer Poster

To celebrate the success of The Tomorrow War, Amazon has teamed up with Aldis Hodge’s (Brother of The Tomorrow War star Edwin Hodge and Star of One Night in Miami) artist collective, 9B Collective, to create an out of this world poster (above) featuring the film’s main cast. 9B Collective’s Kevin Tong created the final image saying: “Amazon’s THE TOMORROW WAR is at its core, a story about everyday people from all walks of life coming together to fight against an overwhelming threat. The themes of diversity and using a doorway to drop into danger definitely informed this poster. To heighten that sense of danger and to create a stronger feeling of motion, I chose to make the direction of falling diagonal

Movie Review: Great White (2021)

It never fails, if I see the words “based on a true story” and “shark” in the same sentence, I am automatically excited, so when I heard about director Martin Wilson’s Great White I had to see it. In the film, “seaplane operators and couple, Kaz Fellows (Katrina Bowden) and Charlie Brody (Aaron Jakubenko), along with their three passengers, Joji Minase (Tim Kano), his wife Michelle (Kimie Tsukakoshi), and hand Benny (Te Kohe Tuhaka) set out on a flight to the picturesque Hell’s Reef. Soon their idyllic trip turns into a fight for survival when they become stranded miles from shore and in grave danger from what lurks just below the surface. Their only chance of survival is to get to the beach, but with two Great White sharks hunting them, the odds are not in their favor. What ensues is a battle for survival of epic proportions against nature’s perfect predator.” This movie doesn’t dick around. It’s action and

Blu-ray Review: Spiral: From the Book of Saw

Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman’s (Saw II, Repo! The Genetic Opera), Spiral: from the Book of Saw is approaching Blu-ray and DVD release. I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release since the moment the news broke, I’ve long been a fan of Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, and Bousman. Last night, I grabbed some snacks and settled down to check it out. But did it live up to the hype? Warning! Spoilers The movie follows Zeke (Chris Rock), a detective who has long been an outcast in his precinct after he ratted out his partner for murdering an innocent man. Saddled with a new partner, Detective William Schenk (Max Minghella), Zeke is sent to a crime scene where a man was hung by his tongue before being hit by a train. But it’s not just any man, it’s a cop and a close friend of Zeke’s. Soon bodies begin to stack up and body parts begin to be delivered to Zeke.
