Neil Marshall Unleashes Half Human Monsters In His New Horror Thriller ‘The Lair’

Jonathan Howard (Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World, Skylines, Warner Bros.’ Godzilla King of Monsters), Charlotte Kirk (The Reckoning, Warner Bros.’ Oceans Eight), and Jamie Bamber (UMC’s “Battlestar Galactica,” Cinemax’s “Strike Back,” 20th Century Fox’s Money) are set to star in the new horror-action-thriller The Lair written and directed by legendary filmmaker Neil Marshall (20th Century Fox’s Dog Soldiers, Lionsgate’s The Descent, The Reckoning, HBO’s “Game Of Thrones”). Two Huge Stars Joining The Cast Of ‘The Haunted Mansion’

Disney is taking us to the Haunted Mansion with a new film based on the iconic ride. Today, we’ve got some casting news to share with you. Comedian Tiffany Haddish (Night School, Girls Trip, Like A Boss) and Oscar nominee LaKeith Stanfield (Get Out, Knives Out, Sorry To Bother You) are currently in talks to star in the movie, THR reports. “Stanfield would play a widower who once believed in the supernatural but is now a rather lifeless tour guide in New Orleans’ French Quarter,” and “Haddish would play a psychic hired to commune with the dead.” Which we assume is the role of the iconic Madame Leota, the headless psychic in the crystal ball, played by Jennifer Tilly in the 2003 adaptation. The movie, which has nothing to do with the 2003 movie starring Eddie Murphy, sounds a lot like a prequel to the ride, an origin story if you will. But we’ll have to wait for the synopsis

A24’s New ‘Lamb’ Trailer Left Us Speechless

When it comes to unique, unnerving films, anything from A24 is bound to get under your skin. That includes Lamb, whose new trailer left me speechless. From Valdimar Jóhannsson comes the supernatural horror thriller Lamb “is the story of a childless couple, María (Noomi Rapace) and Ingvar (Hilmir Snaer Gudnason), who are sheep farmers in Iceland. On Christmas Eve they find a newborn who is half-human, half sheep. Longing for a child of their own they decide to keep the lamb-child and raise it as their own regardless of the consequences. This unexpected prospect of a new family brings them much joy before it ultimately destroys them.” Lamb, a film unlike anything we’ve seen before, is set to be released on October 8, 2021.

Movie Review: A Quiet Place: Part Two (2021)

In 2018, John Krasinski delivered A Quiet Place, which was hit with critics and viewers alike. Now, the sequel is coming to Blu-ray and DVD in just a few days. A Quiet Place: Part Two begins by revealing what happened the day the creatures arrived, with the small town seeing balls of light in the sky falling to earth before the creatures suddenly appear to reak havoc on the town. The film then picks up right where the first movie left off with Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe leaving their home and facing the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond their sand path. Sequels rarely live up to the original film, but that’s not the case with Part Two. We get a film that not only

Jason Blum Says The New ‘Paranormal Activity’ Movie Is Finished

Paranormal Activity has created one hell of a franchise, featuring six films already. Now, the latest installment, a remake from director William Eubank (The Signal, Underwater), is on its way and according to Jason Blum of Blumhouse, the movie is already made and set to premiere on Paramount Plus in 2022. The movie’s done,” Blum told Collider. “Yeah, we did it.” Originally the franchise was intended to end in 2015, but Paramount had other ideas. Paramount wanted to continue Paranormal Activity, I probably would have left it alone,” Blum states. “So they wanted to continue it, but I thought if they were gonna continue it, you gotta – it was tired, there was no way to continue the road that we’d been down. So I really encouraged all the creative people involved to think of something new. A lot of people who are going to go see the new Paranormal Activity were 3 years old when the first Paranormal Activity
