Disney is taking us to the Haunted Mansion with a new film based on the iconic ride. Today, we’ve got some casting news to share with you.

Comedian Tiffany Haddish (Night School, Girls Trip, Like A Boss) and Oscar nominee LaKeith Stanfield (Get Out, Knives Out, Sorry To Bother You) are currently in talks to star in the movie, THR reports.

“Stanfield would play a widower who once believed in the supernatural but is now a rather lifeless tour guide in New Orleans’ French Quarter,” and “Haddish would play a psychic hired to commune with the dead.” Which we assume is the role of the iconic Madame Leota, the headless psychic in the crystal ball, played by Jennifer Tilly in the 2003 adaptation.

The movie, which has nothing to do with the 2003 movie starring Eddie Murphy, sounds a lot like a prequel to the ride, an origin story if you will. But we’ll have to wait for the synopsis to be released to know for sure.

Justin Simien, who was behind Dear White People and Bad Hair is directing from a script penned by Katie Dippold. Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich of Rideback will be producing. Rideback’s Nick Reynolds is serving as executive producer.

The movie is set to begin filming this Fall in Louisiana.
