Two Huge Stars Joining The Cast Of ‘The Haunted Mansion’

Disney is taking us to the Haunted Mansion with a new film based on the iconic ride. Today, we’ve got some casting news to share with you. Comedian Tiffany Haddish (Night School, Girls Trip, Like A Boss) and Oscar nominee LaKeith Stanfield (Get Out, Knives Out, Sorry To Bother You) are currently in talks to star in the movie, THR reports. “Stanfield would play a widower who once believed in the supernatural but is now a rather lifeless tour guide in New Orleans’ French Quarter,” and “Haddish would play a psychic hired to commune with the dead.” Which we assume is the role of the iconic Madame Leota, the headless psychic in the crystal ball, played by Jennifer Tilly in the 2003 adaptation. The movie, which has nothing to do with the 2003 movie starring Eddie Murphy, sounds a lot like a prequel to the ride, an origin story if you will. But we’ll have to wait for the synopsis

New Streaming Service Combines Other Services For One Fee

I can’t count how many times I have wished that there was an app that connects all of my streaming services instead of having to hunt down something to watch service by service. And I’m guessing I’m not alone. Well, that may not be a problem for much longer. There’s a new streaming service headed our way that will do just that, plus save us some cash. The new service is called Struum and it will allow us to watch streaming shows and movies from various other streaming services without having to buy a subscription to each of them individually. The service hails from the Walt Disney Co. and Discovery Inc. Paul Pastor, the service’s co-founder, told The Wall Street Journal that Struum would also help shine a light on smaller-scale streaming services that have great content but that are less known. The service has already reportedly brokered deals with nearly three-dozen services, featuring more than 20,000 movies, shorts, and
