The Nightmare Inducing Trailer For ‘Grandmother’ Is Here From the Director Of [REC]

Spanish filmmaker Paco Plaza – who has already has made a name for himself in the horror genre with titles such as Verónica and the REC franchise – is back with his new horror film, Grandmother (aka La Abuela), which joins the ranks of geriatric-themed horrors such as Relic and The Taking of Deborah Logan. Shudder Announces Cast For ‘Horror Noire’ Anthology

Shudder has announced some of the cast for their new upcoming horror anthology Horror Noire, based on both the book and documentary series of the same name and will feature some of the best names as well as emerging talent from black entertainment. Comprised of six tales, titled Daddy, Bride Before You, Brand of Evil, The Lake, Sundown, and Fugue State, the two-hour event will debut on Shudder this October, Deadline reports. Some of the talent involved includes Tony Todd, Brandon Mychal Smith, Peter Stormare, Sean Patrick Thomas, Malcolm Barrett, Lavell Crawford, Rachel True, Tone Bell, Nathaniel Logan McIntyre, and Lenora Crichlow. The scripts for the project were written by Victor LaValle (Daddy), Al Letson (Sundown), Ezra C. Anya Taylor-Joy Sinks Her Teeth Into The Lead Role In The Horror Comedy ‘The Menu’

It has now been announced that Mark Mylod (“Game of Thrones”, “Succession”, “Shameless”) will be directing Searchlight Picture’s upcoming horror-comedy The Menu. THR is reporting the Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch, The Queen’s Gambit) is starring alongside Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies, Mad Max: Fury Road), and acclaimed actor Ralph Fiennes (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Schindler’s List). “The film is a darkly comedic psychological thriller set in the world of eccentric culinary culture, centering on a young couple (Taylor-Joy and Hoult) who visit an exclusive restaurant on a remote island where an acclaimed chef (Fiennes) has prepared a lavish tasting menu, with some shocking surprises.” Written by Will Tracy and Seth Reiss, The Menu is being produced by Adam McKay for Searchlight Pictures.

A Killer Hunts The Audience Of A Movie Theater This August In ‘The Last Matinee’

From director Maxi Contenti (Muñeco viviente V, Neptunia) comes the new Uruguay-Argentinian horror film The Last Matinee. In the indie slasher, “The audience attending the last showing of a horror film in a small downtown cinema are terrorized by a murderer who begins to pick them off, one by one. Dive Into The New Trailer For ‘The Deep House’

The French filmmaking duo of Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, known for their films Inside and Leatherface, is taking viewers underwater for their new horror film The Deep House, a unique twist of the haunted house subgenre. Producers Of New Predator Movie ‘Skull’ Reveal New Details

There have been rumors about the new upcoming Predator movie, Skull since the news broke back in 2020. The producers, John Davis and John Fox have now confirmed some of the details. The two recently told Collider that the film, which is already “three-quarters of the way through” production, will be a “Predator origin story” about “the Predators’ first journey to this planet.”According to Fox, “it actually has more akin to The Revenant than it does any film in the Predator canon.” It’s rumored that the film will be set hundreds of years in the past and centers on Native Americans before the territories were taken by the American settlers and will feature a First Nations cast.
