While every other major entertainment conglomerate (Netflix, Hulu, Paramount, NBC, ABC, etc., etc.) shuts down production worldwide, America’s #1 horror tv channel, American Horrors, continues production on its original television series “Groovey TV”, “Gorecast”, “American Horrors: The Lost Seasons”, “The American Horrors Intermission,” “Mission Terror” and “Horror Show.” In a statement to the press American Horrors founder & Head of Programming, Hart D. Fisher. “My production teams around the world are all tucked into isolation, with supplies, staff and the dedication to continue shooting new episodes that will be aired for free worldwide. I love these guys, they’re the best.” I’ve been working around the clock to bring horror fans a feast of fear from around the world,

Universal is sending Leigh Whannell‘s brilliant hit The Invisible Man (review) and Craig Zobel‘s controversial film The Hunt, home early due to theater closings. The two movies have just arrived On-Demand and are available as a 48-hour rental at the suggested price of $19.99. In The Hunt, Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don’t know where they are, or how they got there. They don’t know they’ve been chosen… for a very specific purpose … The Hunt. In the shadow of a dark internet conspiracy theory, a group of elites gathers for the very first time at a remote Manor House to hunt ordinary Americans for sport. But the elites’ master plan is about to be derailed because one of The Hunted, Crystal (Betty Gilpin, “GLOW”), is better at their game than they are. Review: Horror Pack February Subscription Box

Every horror fan has something in common other than their taste in entertainment, they all love adding to their collection. One of the best ways to do that is with the Horror Pack subscription box. I walked out on my porch Friday to find a box sitting in my rocking chair. I knew it had to be the February Horror Pack box, thanks to tracking updates emailed regularly. I got so excited as I opened it, it felt a bit like Christmas morning. The four Blu-rays were wrapped up nice and tight in their factory packages. The movies in the February box includes Drag Me to Hell: The Director’s Cut, one of the best films from Sam Raimi since Evil Dead; there is 2018’s Elizabeth Harvest, a creepy AF flick; The Darkness starring Kevin Bacon was also included along with the Horror Pack Exclusive indie horror Click Bait. All in all, I’m really happy about the selection. Three of the

Movies To Watch On Halloween

Halloween is coming up fast and there’s a lot to do to get ready for it! Get candy, carve pumpkins, put up decorations, give stares of immense disdain to your neighbor who’s putting up Christmas lights, and of course, finding a good horror movie to watch! Whether you’re staying in or inviting people over for a Halloween movie night, nothing beats a good horror film. Of course, you ask anyone what’s the best film to watch and generally people will say the classics, especially the Universal monster movies. Though you can’t argue that those movies are good but you want to be careful over watching them as it may take away what’s great about them. That’s why it’s good to mix things up from time to time, below in no particular order are some horror movies you may know or not for you to consider to watch on Halloween. “Arsenic and Old Lace” The 1944 dark comedy starring Cary Grant

‘The Monster Project’ Creeping onto VOD August 18th

The most meta monster movie of the year is creeping it’s way onto VOD August 18th with the release of Victor Mathieu’s The Monster Project. Following a group of Youtubers seeking to expand their subscriber account. In the process they “post an online casting call for “real life” monsters to interview for their documentary. They find three participants and choose to film them sharing their haunted experiences in a mansion in the woods on the night of a lunar eclipse. The production suddenly turns into a nightmare when the participants transform into a real vampire, demon, and skinwalker (a type of harmful witch, according to Navajo legends, that can transform into any animal with the intent of harming people), forcing the unsuspecting crew to fight for their lives.” A trio of powerful monsters slaying annoying bloggers? Sounds like my kind of movie!

10 Ways to Support Women in Horror Year Round

As Women in Horror Month draws to a close, so will the frequency of support for women in the genre, but it doesn’t have to be that way. The following are 10 ways you can continue supporting women in horror beyond the month of February. 1.) Actively seek out work by female, and female-identifying, horror creators, especially work from those who are new to you. Familiarizing yourself with more women in horror introduces you to a range of voices. If you don’t like one artist, you may like another. How will you know if you don’t observe them all? 2.) Support those creators by sharing their work with others. Chances are that if you haven’t heard of someone, other people might not have either. Share the love! Spread links to their work and invite friends to screenings or other events! 3.) Inspire and empower other women to work within the genre. The only way for the genre to continue growing

Jaws the Worst

A Picture is Worth A Thousand Reviews The picture above is a series of stills from the ending of “Jaws The Revenge.” People rip on Ed Wood’s hubcaps and pie tin flying saucer’s in his “Plan 9 From Outer Space.” However, Wood had about 200 bucks for his effects budget. “Jaws The Revenge” had about six million and you get what’s in that picture? Cynema: The cynical contempt for an audience in the making of product that is devoid of creativity, passion, production value or respect while having the financial and creative means to do better. This Time It’s Ridiculous…Imagine you are sitting in an office at Universal Studios. You approve film projects pitched to you. Here’s the challenge. Without any knowledge of the previous Jaws films, someone pitches you the plot for a fourth installment to the famous shark series. Would you or wouldn’t you give 20 million dollars to make this movie? Here’s the pitch: “We get Lorraine
