Game Review: ‘Crysis Remastered Trilogy’

Game Review: ‘Crysis Remastered Trilogy’

When it comes to first-person shooters, you have over-the-top games and ones that fly under the radar (for good reasons) and then you have some that capture the old-school FPS feel that’s slowly going away in the industry, “Crysis” is the latter and in its own right has become a cult classic for keeping true to what FPS games are and thankfully with the market getting flooded with many FPS single-player games starting to focus more on online battle royal style gaming that’s coming out this year thankfully Crytek and Saber Interactive have brought “Crysis” back, not just the first game but the entire trilogy! A big thank you to Crytek and Saber Interactive for the opportunity to check out the Crysis Remastered Trilogy that brings all three games back and in HD. for those not familiar with the game series, Crysis centers around the player playing as a soldier wearing a Nanosuit that allows them to cloak, build impenetrable

If ‘FallOut’ And ‘Metro’ Had A Baby: Game Review Of ‘Chernobylite’

The Farm 51 and All in! Games were awesome enough to allow me the chance to explore the decaying ruins of Pripyat and the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone in Chernobylite, an FPS survival game that takes players to the most radiated zone in the world. In Chernobylite players take on the role of Igor, a Ukrainian physicist, who worked at Chernobyl doing research involving interdimensional travel along with his fiancé who went missing during the meltdown of the power plant. After the disaster, a new element was made that Igor is studying called Chernobylite that also has attracted the attention of the NAR who have taken over the wasteland. Along with the human threat, there are now also mysterious creatures that thanks to the Chernobylite, have traverse dimensions and now stalk the wasteland. Now onto the game itself! Once you get the game starting players will have to adjust the sensitivity as I noticed at the start I turn too slow,

Game Review: ‘World War Z: Aftermath’

It’s no secret, people like to kill zombies, but how would they fair staring down a massive hoard of them barreling towards them like a tsunami of bloody flesh and nightmare fuel? Well, now you can in World War Z: Aftermath. A big thanks to Saber Interactive for the opportunity to try out this game! The game takes place in the same universe as Paramount Picture’s film World War Z where players team up to survive the massive hoard of zombies. It should be noted that World War Z: Aftermath is an addition to the main game and not a standalone story. Aftermath features new characters and two new levels, Rome and Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula. The biggest addition to the game is the option to have the game in First-Person, which added a whole new dynamic to the intensity of the game. I have not played the game before now and after a few hours going solo with AI teammates;

Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studio have released a new trailer for their upcoming fps zombie shooter Back 4 Blood that focuses on the narrative behind the game’s main plot and showcases “Mom” the leader of the band of human survivors who are facing the Devil Worm infestation that transformed most of humanity into zombie-like creatures. Speaking of Zombies… Techland released a statement today about the release of the sequel to the popular fps/parkour zombie game Dying Light. Unfortunately, fans of the first game who are looking forward to the release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human will have to wait a bit longer as the release has been pushed back to February 4, 2022, so the devs can playtest the game to make sure it will be perfect at launch. Game Review: ‘Song Of Horror’

Those who have been reading past articles of mine may have noticed that I covered Song of Horror a lot as the premise of the game caught my attention and got my spooky meter going as I do love a good scary game. The wait is over and I can now finally say a big thank you to Protocol Games and Raiser Games for the opportunity to review! Now let’s see if the long wait was worth it! Song of Horror follows 13 playable characters as they investigate the mysterious disappearance of famed mystery writer Sebastian P. Husher and his family. The investigation immediately goes out of control as the disappearances revolve around a mysterious music box and an otherworldly entity known simply as the Presence is responsible and has ensnared the investigators as well. If you are a fan of the old-school survival horror games, this is for you! Immediately you will notice that the game is set up

A Messy Attempt: Game Review ‘FORECLOSED’

Cyberpunk and Comic books go hand in hand but in a videogame format? In FORECLOSED players are in a cyberpunk world told like a comic book and follows Evan Kapnos who had his identity foreclosed on after a company he was augmented through went bankrupt, not only that, now people from an unknown organization are trying to kill him. Unfortunately, my experience with FORECLOSED was no very good, starting with a bug that would not let the game work for several days, even after the game’s launch, after it somehow started to work, I sort of wished it still hadn’t. To start off with, on a positive note, the animation is unique and the concept of having the game come across as an interactive comic made it intriguing… that’s the extent of the positive notes I have. Though the overall look of the game is supposed to be a “Comic” look, it’s just unappealing texture-wise. The change in views can

Game Review: ‘Deadly Days’

Zombie games pretty much have the same premise, zombies take over the world, survival is key, fight and scavenge in order to survive. Nothing new right? Well Pixel Split Games, Assemble Entertainment, and WhisperGames changed that by combining rogue-lite elements with silliness that birthed this pixilated strategy, Deadly Days. Deadly Days is a pixilated strategy game where failure can be a good thing as the more you keep trying again, the more you uncover as no playthrough is the same. The game’s story is quite silly, some bad burgers were produced and sold in a fast food restaurant turning people into zombies, you take control of survivors to help battle the hoards of zombies while trying to find the burger joint that caused this apocalypse and destroy it. The controls for Deadly Days are easy to master as they’re quite simple, plus the humorous tutorial at the start helps. The game’s sound designe is relatively simple but the soundtrack is

‘Evil Dead: The Game’ Delayed Till February

Fear not headline reactors! Though the news of Evil Dead: The Game’s release is being pushed back to February 2022, there’s some positive news for players, especially for us lone wolf players. Saber Interactive is going to add a single-player mode to the game, they most likely foresaw friendships being torn apart by arguments of who will be playing their favorite characters. The question now is will the single-player option include a standalone game/story mode? We will have to see. Evil Dead: The Game is a 4v1 game pitting four friends playing as characters from the “Evil Dead” film and TV series while one plays as one of the films/show’s villains who is able to summon minions and possess the environment as well as other players. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S.
