One of the genre films I am most looking forward to in 2017 is Rock Paper Dead, from ‘Friday the 13th’ creator Victor Miller and co-writer Kerry Fleming (Opening Day). Genre legend Tom Holland, known for his classics ‘Fright Night’ and ‘Child’s Play’, is in the director’s chair. ‘Rock Paper Dead’ follows Peter Harris (Luke Macfralane), aka “The Doll Maker”, who returns to his ancestral estate after his release from the state asylum for the criminally insane. After 20 years inside the institution he has been deemed as “cured”. When Peter steps inside the old house memories of his tortured childhood and past victims come flooding back. It isn’t until Ashley enters his life that Peter makes a decision, one that rekindles old desires that have always ended in murder. Today, we have more casting news. We have learned exclusively that Quinton Aaron has joined that cast of ‘Rock Paper Dead’ to play the role of an orderly named Joe.

I recently spoke with Australian actress Natalie Gerace, who is set to star in Victor Miller and Kerry Fleming’s Rock Paper Dead. This young actress has a distinct, beautiful look and fabulous accent to match. KM “You’re far from home. How did you end up in LA?” NG “Well, the biggest drawcard for me moving to LA was acting. After all, it’s the hub for the entertainment industry. But nonetheless, I’ve always wanted to live here. I love the lifestyle, not to mention the glorious weather year round. It’s such a great city. There’s always something to see and do. Never a dull moment in La La land! It’s definitely very different to where I grew up. I’m a small city girl from Adelaide, South Australia. Coming from a smaller city in Australia, there really isn’t a lot of opportunity to pursue a professional career in the entertainment industry.” KM “Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t you named after

Victor Miller, the writer-creator of Friday the 13th, along with the film and series’ co-creator Kerry Fleming, is now shopping for a network for the companion television series to their upcoming Rock Paper Dead. Many details about the series are still being kept hush-hush, but we do know that Miller and Fleming have`a plan to bring in iconic horror film actors to appear in the series, in the form of cameos, guest spots or even recurring roles. “The concept for the crossover is similar to what Marvel has done with their superhero films. What we will be doing is a first in the horror genre. The show is designed to work hand in hand with the film. The same core characters, with expanding supporting roles. Besides writing the film screenplay, Victor and I, created a blueprint for the characters with story arcs that can be sustained for multiple movies and seasons of the series.” Kerry continued explaining to me, “We

For those of you who haven’t heard about the horror-comedy ‘Ghostpuncher’, let me fill you in. ‘Ghostpuncher’ is the brain-child of Gemini award winning actor/writer Jordan McCloskey . Jordan starred on the TV series ‘The Wilkinsons’ and the series ‘Three Chords From the Truth’. Now Jordan has set out to make an unforgettable and completely original movie with blood, gore, creepy ghosts and a few laughs. I sat down today to talk with Jordan about his project. The man on the other end of the phone was over flowing with excitement about ‘Ghostpuncher’ and I can’t blame him, by the time I hung up the phone I was psyched about this indie film too. ‘Ghostpuncher’ tells the story of a single father and his son, who have moved into a new house, unaware of the fact that the home is haunted by three spirits. The home now stands on the foundation of where a nineteenth century poor-house once stood. The

I had the opportunity to talk with a true horror legend, Victor Miller, Jason’s true father. Many of you will instantly recognize his name and the influence he has had on the horror genre. For those of you who don’t know his name, you should, he wrote the original ‘Friday the 13th’. Besides having a killer horror legacy, Victor has three Emmy Awards and Four Writer’s Guild awards to his name for his time as a TV drama writer. Victor is also a talented voice-over actor. Victor has been involved in many projects over the years. He is now working on a new project, the horror film ‘Rock Paper Dead’. Miller is working alongside Kerry Fleming on the psychological/slasher film about serial killer Peter Harris, nicknamed ‘The Doll Maker. When Peter Harris is pronounced “cured” and released from the mental asylum he returns home. Harris is able to keep his impulses in control until he meets a beautiful young woman

Last night I sat down for an interview with Kerry Fleming, the co-writer and co-producer of the horror movie ‘Rock Paper Dead’. Mr. Fleming and I had the best conversation about horror, that I’ve had in a very long time. It was very refreshing to hear him talk about his horror movie and the genre the way he did, with so much enthusiasm and pride. I know that those emotions will be evident in the quality of this movie, which I can’t wait to see. When I first heard about ‘Rock Paper Dead’ I was excited by the actors that had already signed up for roles, a group of true horror legends. ‘Cujo’ actress Dee Wallace, Michael Berryman of ‘The Hills Have Eyes’, and both Kane Hodder and Ari Lehman, who have played Jason in ‘Friday The 13th’, are all the cast list. ‘Rock Paper Dead’ also stars ‘X-Men’ actor Bruce Davison and Mikaela Hoover of the 2014 hit ‘Guardians
