Beginning this May, after nearly a decade, a new ‘Star Trek’ series will be coming to television and to CBS’ streaming service. News has come that Sonequa Martin-Green, who currently stars as Sasha on AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’, will be playing Lieutenant Commander Rainsford aboard the U.S.S. Discovery on ‘Star Trek: Discovery’. The question on the mind of many of Green’s fans is what will this mean for her character Sasha? Currently, ‘The Walking Dead’ is on its mid-season break. When the show returns this February the group from Alexandria will be trying to build bridges with the surrounding settlements in hopes that they will a unite to take out Negan and his Saviors. Does this mean that Sash won’t around much longer? Hopefully she will be there to see Negan’s fall and get justice for Abraham’s death.

‘ The Walking Dead may be in trouble. After 7 seasons AMC’s highest ranking show seems to be in decline. The season 7 premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ scored the second highest ratings in the hit series’ history. A month later the ratings have taken a nose-dive. The episode titled “Go Getters”, had the lowest ratings since the third season. Some may say that it’s just a fluke, but a 7 million drop in ratings is pretty significant, and it’s getting worse. The episode before Sunday’s mid-season finale saw another drop to 10.4 million. The trend in viewer decline began with the season 6 finale which reached 12.42 million viewers, 3 million less than the season 5 finale. Let’s hope things pick-up through the second half of the season. TWD is not the only show losing viewers. The spin-off, ‘Fear the Walking Dead’, is suffering as well. Let me simplify ‘The Walking Dead’s’ numbers for you. 6 finale: 12.38 million

Monday, Netflix tweeted a series of strange tweets, “Have you seen death?”, “Have you seen darkness”, and last “Have you seen the light?”. Spooky right? The tweets are part of a social media campaign for their new series ‘The OA’. The newly opened Instagram account has been posting images from the series that leaves its followers with more questions than answers. The trailer has just arrived and it’s pretty creepy, in a good way. It gives off a ‘Stranger Things’ vibe and seems to have a other-worldly aspect. The eight episode series centers on Prairie Jackson (Marling), a woman who reappears seven years after she mysteriously disappeared. Much of the plot is being kept quiet, adding to the 8-episode original series’ myster Zai Batmanglij was in the directors chair for ‘The OA’, which he co-wrote with Brit Marling. Marling (The East) also co-stars in the series along with Ian Alexander, Will Brill (The Eyes of My Mother), Emory Cohen (The

Well, get ready for Walking Dead withdraw. The first half of the season is over and we have to wait until February for the next episode. Ugh! While most of The Walking Dead’s mid-season finale was a slow-burn, and a couple of characters that really didn’t mean much to us were killed. But there were some really important things that happened, some more important than you may have realized. Love him or hate him, Negan has some serious swagger. I can’t help but love that shit-eating grin he has. Every time he’s about to or has been naughty he smiles like a jackass eating briers, and it’s kind of adorable. He makes things interesting again and he is the one reason this season has been tolerable. Talk about perfect casting, no one could play that bat swinging badass better that Jeffrey Dean Morgan. So, lets look at the finale. More Deaths At The Hands Of Negan Negan did us all

WARNING! SPOILERS! Back in November we reported that Chandler Riggs might be leaving The Walking Dead. Considering that most of the stars have already signed their new contracts and Riggs has not, along with the comments his father has posted, I would not be surprised if Riggs plans to leave while he can still enjoy his youth. Who could blame him? He has given up his childhood for the past 7 years to The Walking Dead. More evidence? Robert Kirkman might have just killed of Riggs’ character Carl in the latest issue of the comic. While deaths do not always match between the comic and the series, if he has chosen to kill off the character in the books it does make you wonder about him being killed on the show. In comic issue 161, the Whisperer War is in full swing. The Hilltop mansion, lit by flaming arrows, is on fire . Carl, Maggie and Lydia have escaped, only

When we first introduced to Michonne she was tough, and a bit cold. Over the past few seasons we have seen her let down her guard and form a loving relationship with her group, especially with Rick, Carl and Judith. Last season we witnessed Michonne and Rick share a heated moment and began a real relationship. That still continues but Negan’s arrival has brought tension into their affair. While Rick seems to have submitted to Negan’s rule, Michonne has no interest in being Negan’s servant and that is causing the two love birds problems that are only going to escalate. It’s a bit hard to judge what is going on in Michonne’s head. She is not a talker and has one hell of a poker face. According to Danai Gurira who plays the Katakana wielding, walker killing, badass, Michonne and Rick have grown apart. She’s at a place where she knows they need to prepare for dealing with [Negan] and
