‘Morbius’ Delayed Again

Many upcoming films have had trouble nailing down release dates since the pandemic, causing release dates to change over and over again. One of those films is Marvel’s Morbius. Last we reported Morbius was set to be released on January 21, 2020. Now news has come that the movie has been delayed again, this time by a week. Part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Morbius stars Jared Leto as Michael Morbius, a scientist who, while trying to find a cure for a rare blood disease, accidentally transforms himself into a living vampire. Though disgusted by his own bloodlust, he chooses to prey upon criminals he deems unworthy of life. Tyrese Gibson stars as FBI agent Simon Stroud; Jared Harris (“The Terror”) plays Morbius’ mentor; Matt Smith (“Doctor Who”) plays the film’s villain Loxias Crown; and Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim: Uprising) is Morbius’ love interest. Today, we get our first look at Jared Leto in the new teaser trailer for Morbius, which is now confirmed to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). ‘Fate Of The Furious’ Actor Joins ‘Morbius’

Earlier today we shared the first look at Jared Leto as Morbius, but that’s not the only Morbius news we’ve got for you. Variety is now reporting that The Fate of the Furious actor Tyrese Gibson has now signed on to star as a yet to be named FBI Agent who is out to bring Morbius to justice.
