Game Review: ‘Zombie Army 4: Dead War’ Is Way Too Much Fun!

There is no way I can stay calm and professional about this game… Rebellion just took the whole Nazi-Zombie killing genre of gaming to a whole new level of blood splattering Nazi-killing goodness in their latest game Zombie Army 4: Dead War, the latest in their “Zombie Army” franchise. To put it bluntly, this game is what happens when Sniper Elite (another game by Rebellion), Left 4 Dead, and Call of Duty Zombies all had a wild night together in a closet at an awesome party which resulted in the birth of this game! This game continues the story of the previous games; I’ll admit I never played them but the introduction at the start of the game breaks it down perfectly so you don’t feel like to miss anything. You’re part of a global resistance movement that’s fighting back against the hoard of undead Nazis that were unleashed by Hitler as he was losing the war, at the time

Game Review: ‘They Are Billions’

The awesome folks over at Blitworks and Numantian Games gave me the opportunity to don my goggles and top hat in order to fight off the ever-hungry hoard of the undead in their upcoming Steampunk survival game, They are Billions. This real-time strategy city building game with a tower defense twist takes place on a planet that’s being colonized until a zombie outbreak occurred turning most of the planet’s inhabitants into an infected hoard and it’s not up to you to rebuild civilization. This game is truly a twist on some of your more traditional tower defense style games as the enemies don’t exactly follow a route, they can come from any direction! Because of this I actually lost the game a couple of times. Usually, I save the bad things about a game for the end of the review but I’ll actually get it out of the way this time as there is only one real negative thing I

The idea of a Steampunk world is quite appealing. Flying machines, Victorian fashion is back in style, Tesla inspired inventions around every corner, peaceful, beautiful…Blitworks decided it was a good idea to add zombies to the mix in the new game They Are Billions where you have to construct a safe haven for the last remaining human survivors. I fucking hate reviews like this…Night of the Living Dead is regarded by multitudes as the one of, if not the, greatest fright flicks ever made; and I am definitely one of those folks! You’ve most likely seen the film, read countless reviews and studies of it, and loved it for years, so what can your’s cruelly add to the mix? Well…umm…I swear a lot… In case you’ve never seen Night of the Living Dead, as improbable as that is, here’s a sinister synopsis for your arcane asses: Barbara (Judith O’Dea) and her brother Johnny (Russell Streiner) head out to visit their father’s grave. Once there they are attacked by a zombie (Bill Hinzman in a role forever enshrined as a horror icon).
