Halloween‘s Scout Taylor-Compton stars in Scream Bloody Murder, a joint venture of Safier Entertainment, PhilaDreams Films, and Cult Cinema LLC.
The slasher, which marks the feature directorial debut of Shawn C. Phillips, is in the vain 90s horror classics such as Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Compton stars alongside Robert LaSardo, James Duval, Vernon Wells, Kelly Reiter, and Lauren Francesca in Scream Bloody Murder, set to begin filming this May.
Producers Jared Safier and Thomas Walton previously teamed with Scout Taylor-Compton for the upcoming studio film, Room 9. We also see the producers re-teaming with Johnny Hickey from the horror movie, Habitual.
It’s going to be a love letter to 90s slasher films in the style of Scream and. The movie will also have elements of films like Mean Girls as well as Revenge of the Nerds. So it will have some humor mixed in as well to the film.” Director Shawn C. Phillips states.
