SYFY’s “Reginald the Vampire” is back for a second season, injecting a fresh dose of humor and heart into the classic monster trope. To celebrate the premiere, we have three new, tasty clips to whet your appetite.

Meet Reginald Andres, an ordinary guy whose life takes a sharp turn – towards the undead that is. After a brush with mortality, Reginald finds himself reborn as a vampire. However, unlike the glamorous bloodsuckers of legend, Reginald isn’t exactly your typical vampire heartthrob.

That’s where the magic of “Reginald the Vampire” lies. Our awkward hero wrestles with his newfound vampiric urges while juggling the complexities of his old life. He craves blood but still works at the Slushy Shack, and his feelings for his co-worker Sarah add a delightful wrinkle to his existence.

Reginald isn’t alone in this strange new world. There’s Maurice, the cool vampire who sired him, and Angela, a powerful former vampire leader with mysterious motives. Adding a touch of danger is Nikki, a ruthless vampire assassin who, surprisingly, has a soft spot for our reluctant hero.

Based on the book series by Johnny B. Truant, “Reginald the Vampire” is brought to life by showrunner Harley Peyton (“Chucky”). The talented cast features Jacob Batalon (“Spider-Man: No Way Home”) as the endearingly awkward Reginald. Em Haine portrays Sarah, the object of his affection, while Mandela Van Peebles brings charisma to the role of Maurice.

With its unique blend of comedy, horror, and relatable characters, “Reginald the Vampire” offers a refreshing take on the vampire genre. This undead tale proves that even after death, life—or should we say, unlife—can be messy, hilarious, and surprisingly heartwarming. Catch Reginald bare his fangs again in Season Two, which kicked off on May 8th. Watch new episodes airing on Wednesday nights.
