The iconic Jurassic World saga prepares for a monumental shift with a fresh cast, director, and narrative direction. Get ready to say goodbye (for now) to Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and the original trilogy’s stars. This new chapter is taking us into uncharted territory.

Leading the charge is a talented ensemble cast featuring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer), Academy Award nominee Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), and Jonathan Bailey (“Bridgerton”). The recently announced addition of Rupert Friend (Hitman: Agent 47, Obi-Wan Kenobi) further elevates the star power.

The visionary Gareth Edwards, whose blockbuster credentials include Godzilla and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, is in the director’s chair for the new film. His unique perspective promises a fresh take on the franchise.

Franchise veteran David Koepp, the screenwriter behind the original Jurassic Park and The Lost World, returns to craft the narrative. This collaboration with Edwards suggests a potential return to the awe-inspiring wonder and scientific intrigue that captivated audiences initially.

This new installment marks a departure from the previous films. The plot details are shrouded in secrecy, but one thing is sure – the focus is on revitalizing the franchise with a story unlike anything seen before. Building upon the financial success of the Jurassic World trilogy, this chapter promises a thrilling evolution for the prehistoric saga.

While the focus shifts, Steven Spielberg’s influence remains. He’s executive producing along with Amblin Entertainment. A seasoned production team, including Frank Marshall, Patrick Crowley, David Leitch, and Kelly McCormick, further bolsters this promising new chapter.

The currently untitled Jurassic World film prepares to enthrall audiences on July 2nd, 2025. For those needing a Jurassic fix sooner, Netflix’s animated series “Jurassic World: Chaos Theory” arrives this year, set within the same universe as “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.”
