Bernard Rose, the writer/director behind ‘Candy Man’ and ‘Boxing Day’, has a new spin on the classic tale of Frankenstein. The new ‘Frankeinstein’ is set in modern day L.A. and is told from the monster’s point of view.
Two scientists, husband and wife, artificially create a man. When the couple is unable to cope with their creation, they leave their project, named Adam, to fend for himself. Adam now must face a violent and cruel world alone.
Much of the cast has already been announced. ‘American Horror Story’ actor Danny Huston, who plays Dr. Frankenstein, will star along side Tony Todd (Candy Man) as Eddie. Carrie-Ann Moss (The Matrix Trilogy) has been cast as Mrs. Frankenstein. Xavier Samuel, who had roles in ‘Twilight’ and ‘Fury’ will play Adam, the monster .
‘Frankenstein’ will be out some time later this year.
