James Wan and Roy Lee to Remake ‘The Entity’

The 1983 supernatural movie ‘The Entity’ is getting a remake. James Wan, director of ‘Saw, ‘Insidious’ and ‘The Conjuring’, and Roy Lee, director of ‘Poltergeist’ (2015), have signed to produce.

The movie is supposedly based on the true story of Carla Moran. In the movie a single mother, is repeatedly assaulted by supernatural forces. A doctor believes that Moran is actually abusing herself as a way to cope with her troubled past. Little else is known about the remake, which is in it’s early pre-production phase.
