The first season of ‘The Strain’, created by Gillermo del Toro, started with a silent plane full of dead passengers. The CDC was called in to investigate, but a virus soon began spreading through the city’s population. In the season finale we saw Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll), his young son Max (Ben Hyland), Abraham Setrakian (David Bradley), Dr. Nora Martinez (Mia Maestro,Velders (Ruth Gedmintas) and Vasiliy Fet (Kevin Durand) fighting to stop a plague of mutated people by killing “The Master”.
