Sad news for fans of ‘Twin Peaks’, the series will be delayed. ‘Twin Peaks’ co-creator Mark Frost let it slip during a conversation at the Baseball Hall of Fame that the reboot will not be premiering until 2017. The revival of ‘Twin Peaks’ was announced by Showtime, this past October with the premier date of 2016, but that seems to have changed. The delay may have been caused when director David Lynch stepped away from the project earlier this year. He has since returned.

The original  series ran from 1990 to 1991.  The show starred Kyle MacLachlan, Ray Wise, Lara Flynn Boyle and many more. The series followed an FBI agent investigating the murder of a young woman. Several of the originals series’ cast will be returning for the new series.
