Review: Image Comics’ “Outcast # 10”

Outcast follows Kyle Barnes, a man who has been tormented by demonic possession his whole life. He has been labeled an “outcast” by the demons, although he is unsure what that means. He even has a newfound ability to “pull” demons out of others. In his quest to find answers and make sense of the world around him he uncovers a more sinister plot. This issue begins right where the last left off with Kyle and Reverend Anderson having just exorcised a demon from a girl named Sherry. Kyle is troubled because the girl is now left in a catatonic state just as his own mother was. He is starting to question his faith and wonders if they both would’ve been better off before he had intervened. In the meantime, the mysterious “Man In Black” visits another church member and they seem to conspire against Kyle and the Reverend. Whatever he is up to with these church members, it can’t

A Look At Season 5 Of ‘Grimm’

The ‘Grimm’ San Diego Comic-Con panel answered some of the lingering questions from Season 4 and gave fans (Grimmsters) a look at what’s to come in season 5. Nick lost so much in season 4, his mother was murdered by the royals and her head left in a box for Nick to find, his fiancee Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) went bad after becoming a Hexenbiest and in the finale was killed by Trubel Jacqueline Toboni), the Grimm Nick took under his wing. Nick also learned that he was going to be a father due to that single twisted encounter with Adalind (Claire Coffee), an enemy and Hexenbiest. Officer Wu (Reggie Lee) discovered that Nick is a Grimm, luckily he adjusted well and joined the team. Police Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) was left, hopefully, banished of his demon. In Season 5 we will see Nick and Adalind try to learn to co-parent. Wu will become a bigger part of the team.

For a long time, if you wanted to become a star you made the trek to Hollywood. That is quickly changing. Atlanta and the surrounding area is now a hub for the entertainment industry, as is all of Georgia. Shows and movies are now clambering to film in the heart of the South. This year alone the economic impact of the entertainment industry in Atlanta has topped over six billion dollars and there is no sign of it slowing. Pinewood Studios, where Ant Man was filmed, has been a major contributor. Of course you can’t forget AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead which as had a huge affect on the state. I have now learned that Smith has yet another project underway. This time Smith is also directing a segment for the new holiday horror film titled ‘Holidays’. The film puts a twisted spin on all of our favorite holidays, like Christmas, Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Smith’s segment, titled ‘Camhain’, will focus on Halloween. ‘Camhain’ is a twist on Samhain. Smith explains “It’s about CamGirls working on Halloween night.” Smith’s long time partner-in-crime, Jason Mewes, will star in the segment along side Harley Morenstein. Smith stated that “Harley plays a douchey, villainous CamGirl pimp with a sad shirt.” Smith and Mewes ‘Holidays’ will also have sections directed by several, very talented directors such as Scott Stewart (Dark Skies), Gary Shore (Dracula Untold). Nick McCarthy (The Pact), Matt Johnson (The Dirties), Sarah Smith (The Midnight Swim), Adam
