A little while back I wrote an article about how Capcom is re-releasing “Resident Evil 2” to new-gen consoles. Later on they announced that they were remaking “Resident Evil Zero”, a prequel to the original “Resident Evil”. Now Capcom has announced that they are bundling together “Resident Evil Zero” with the HD remaster of the first “Resident Evil” game that was released this January for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. Titled “Resident Evil: Origins” it is set to release January 22nd 2016 for an asking price of $20. Both games are being made to run in 1080p and 60 frames per second. This new bundle is also adding a “Wesker” mode which allows players to play as Albert Weskers and Rebecca Chambers in a story mode that leads up to the events of the original “Resident Evil”.
So to recap; the first “Resident Evil” is available for purchase now, it will later be bundled with “Resident Evil Zero” this January and then a remake of “Resident Evil 2” will be released later in 2016. Resident Evil fans must be going crazy! “Resident Evil: Origins” bundle will be available this January for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
